I'm so tired of bad fancy bakeries. And honestly, I was skeptical when I saw the “bread studio”, but I was hungry too. My skepticism was satisfied in the form of a sandwich and shut up, it was good. Simple, made on the spot, honest, generous. Maybe the sandwich of the year from here. The coffee and service were also both nice and respectful 🌟

I live in Australia, but every time I visit Aarhus, this is the place I get most excited about, especially for their sandwich. And that’s high praise for the sandwich, not a dig at Aarhus.

Quite famous place for the pastries lovers! Loved and loved their pastries but its quite inconsistent so its probably based on luck🥹 also tried their hot chocolate which for me taste quite meh and not so grand. would love to comeback to try out their caffeinated drinks! The workers when i come was so nice and the service was quite fast eventhough there were alot of people and the store was very crowded. It was weekdays and its still so crowded and some need to wait in line to get seated🥹

Davidbreadhead is a very mixed experience for me. Their bread and buns are excellent, but the pastries vary a lot in quality. Some are crispy, airy, flaky and buttery; everything you’d hope for, while others feel dense and dry, closer to supermarket level. This year’s fastelavnsbolle was especially disappointing.

A perfect spot to get some delicious brød med ost in the evening. There was lots of seating options available & it was super warm and cosy inside. A number of groups chatting away and the worker was so nice and swift, would defo visit again. To get the bakery you have to enter through a courtyard although it is hard to miss the sign on the outside and you can peep in and see the bakery easily from the street.

17/08/2025: Prepaid fueling. Vending machines. You first have to use the card from which the 1,000 kroner was debited, and then you can fill up. Apparently, the remaining amount is then refunded to your account. I haven't checked yet. The machine is operated in Danish, English, or German, and the screen changes very quickly; someone who isn't fluent in the language might have trouble keeping up. Generally, filling up is stressful; I wouldn't recommend it to foreigners who don't speak the language fluently.
