The BEST croissants in Copenhagen, hands down. They also have tasty coffee and it's fun to sit at the window seats and watch people walk by. The cafe is attached to the public library, so you can take your order next door if you want and sit there. Every time we've been, the staff has been really friendly and welcoming, which is unusual for Denmark where most service is short and gruff.

The almond croissant and cappuccino are delicious, perfect for a short break and rest while wandering around the city.

Stopped here on an early morning coffee/cafe tour of Copenhagen and had a really nice experience. The staff was really nice and upbeat (as has been my experience everywhere in Copenhagen) despite the early hour. I grabbed a cinnamon roll and an oat cortado and thoroughly enjoyed both of them in the crisp winter air. Definitely recommend if you're a coffee fan.

Delicious cinnamon bun and good coffee (maybe a bit small). You can bring the coffee to the library in the building or sit in the cafe looking out on Krystalgade.
