Such a shame. Food was fresh and very tasty, so I have already written a nice review. Unfortunately too soon. The desserts on the menu were not there, but we were given the choice via gentleman's phone from 2 others. Just a coffee for myself. Coffee was dirty and when asked, the pot had only been on the warming plate for 3 hours. So old coffee. The gentleman was insulted and no longer behaved in a friendly manner. Shame!

Beautiful place with a view of the marina. We tried two Kurdish dishes, they were very good and homemade. Clever and helpful staff. Nice place we would like to visit again.

Delicious food and exceptionally friendly service. Nothing vegetarian on the menu but it is solved on the spot in a tasty way.

There aren't many places left like this one 👌 unusually nice staff, delicious food and incredible view, we brought the dog too... we'll be happy to come again ❤️

God og hurtig betjening. Vi fik 2 stjerneskud som bare smagte fantastisk både den kogte fisk og den stegte. Virkelig hyggeligt sted med god atmosfære.

Really really nice place! The lagoon was a really nice and lovely walk! The harbor was lovely to sit right next to and enjoy a delicious shooting star by! The staff and the owner were super nice! Really good experience! 🤩

The owner is fantastic, my girlfriend and I came at closing time and we got some rye bread, a leg, freshly fried falafels and some leftover meat sauce with quince and fries. We will definitely come back and taste apple cake one day :)

Gastvrij ontvangen op een bijzondere locatie. Hier aan de haven is het goed eten voor een zeer schappelijke prijs. Slechts 25krn voor biertje, dan 3 verschillende Smorrebrod is echt lekker en vers. Terrasje aan het water, nette toiletten gewoon een prima stek

06/09/2024: Good morning, We ate at Dampskibshuset in winter 2023. A table was reserved in advance and we went to the restaurant for the roast buffet. There was a large selection of roasts, fish dishes, side dishes, soups and desserts. The quality of the food was very good, the staff friendly and accommodating. The selection of drinks is more than sufficient. The price/performance ratio is very good. We will definitely come back here in spring 2025. Sunny greetings from Hamburg.
29/08/2024: Verdenklasse smørrebrød der fortjener stor ros! Virkeligt et besøg værd, med god betjening af ejeren. Beliggenheden er helt i top! På forreste række! Vi kommer 100 % igen!

04/11/2024: Just delicious food and top service.
02/11/2024: We had a brunch at Café Salt in Mariager and the food is not to be faulted. Especially the cream mushrooms with poached egg and crispy serrano ham tasted really good, but the stir-fried salmon was also good. Good ingredients and tasty. Thanks for the food
