Came at 6:00 PM, there were two guests before me. I order another burger to go. The employee jokes with me about whether she should ask the kitchen how long it takes 🤣🤣🤣 It took two to answer 10 minutes (of course it didn't last) The price was 199. I gave 200. Without me saying anything, it sounded like we don't have that much change, so you can't get any back. It's not the kroner, but the principle of it. And why would she ask how long it took?

Very tasty, we had a nice outdoor seating. The usual prices, definitely recommended.

A worthwhile visit! The chef does a great job. The food tastes excellent! We had three courses, which were outstanding!

We were 27 cyclists at the campsite who had the best tapas ever. Really good ingredients, delicious bread and reasonable quantities. Everyone was happy and satisfied.

Delicious tapas ordered as takeaway. Ready in only 10 minutes and served with multi grain bread. Highly recommend!!!! It was truly tastefull and fresh.

Situated in the central plaza in the heart of Nyborg, Den gode smag (the good taste), offers a simple and tasty menu with tapas, sandwich and other classic café meals. We all had the Salmon sandwich, which was really tasty. Crispy bread with green pesto, smoked salmon and radishes. Arranged in an inspiring way on the plate. We had a glass of Chardonnay for the meal and a Pepsi Max. As the weather was sunny, we enjoyed our meal at a cosy table on the plaza with a beautiful view to the city hall on one side and to the water art on the other side. In the middle, our view was to the castle mill that is now a teatre. Tasty Nordic decor inside and clean toilet. There were not a lot visitors beside us, as it was a regular Tuesday, so it was all very quite. Highly recommendable!

Delicious lamb shank and mussels

My wife and I went to Den gode smag today to have lunch. It was lovely sunshine and we chose to sit outside, there were only 2 other guests. After some waiting, we chose to go in for the menu ourselves. I chose a burger for DKK 199. and my wife a tuna sandwich for DKK 159. After some waiting again, our order was taken. The drinks came after a while, but apparently waiting was the theme of the day. It took a very long time for our food to arrive. My burger had a very well cooked steak that was juicy and tasty. The bun was good and not dry. The accessories in the burger were 1 lettuce leaf and otherwise dressing, pickled onion and pickled cucumber. I could have thought of some fresh vegetables, cucumber, onion or tomato. It was served with fries, which were quite ok, as long as there had been salt on them. There was no salt and pepper at the tables, so it required a trip into the restaurant to get it. The mayo that was included tasted a lot like the mayo I usually get on my tuna in mackerel at home. it got way too greasy for fries, especially when there were no fresh greens in the burger. My wife's sandwich was made in a tasty and good bread. Salad, pickled onion and red pesto were the side dishes, along with some tuna salad. It was a shame that there was so little tuna salad. It drowned a little in the pesto. When you took the top part that had the most pesto on it and ate it for yourself, it tasted really good. But don't save so much on the tuna salad, it should be the main element of a tuna sandwich. So all in all, some good elements, but unfortunately not quite followed through. and at a price for the burger where you expect more. Nice without being ostentatious, must fit in well here. It's not a place I won't come again, but I might choose to try others first the next time I come to Nyborg.
