A good Thursday evening. menu. "starburst". perfectly prepared. not dry, not overcooked, simple but good. consumed in cozy surroundings, mixed with good Danish bodega culture. In the literal sense of the word. a shooting star every visit. Regards. Max Seierø

Warmest recommendations from here. We had the 3-course menu with seafood soup, confit duck leg and creme brulee. It was absolutely worth every penny. I have had equally good experiences at much more expensive bistros. The house white wine (Grüner Veltliner) was also a gem. We will definitely do it again

If you love brown taverns, then you have to visit this place. It is complete and will not disappoint. The soundtrack is Birte Kjær, John Mogensen, Tommy Seebach. The tablecloths are red/white checkered wok cloths. The food is fried pork on lithium. The waiter is the sweetest guy you can find on the island.

Nexø's best kept secret. Well made old school/classic danish dishes, served by super friendly people in surroundings that could be a movie set. Love it.

A super cozy tavern that serves food from 5 pm. Today we had fried pork with parsley sauce and it tasted really nice. The young lady serving was incredibly smiling and service-minded. Can definitely recommend stopping by. It's the kind of tavern you hope the citizens of Nexø support when we tourists have gone home.

Super cozy place! We had fried pork, and it was really good! We were welcomed warmly when we arrived, the service was really nice and there was a nice selection of drinks.

After a long day of work, I find this gem of a place! And never has my heart felt better, both food and service were above the standard but expect for a more expensive restaurant!!! Although the Golden Rooster is price friendly for even a simple plumber on his way home from work...

21/11/2025: Rønne bio is a spacious and cozy cinema. There is a small exhibition from various shops in Rønne. Wait for a seat before you come down and buy tickets. Remember to draw a number before you go down the stairs to the waiting room. Tickets, sweets and drinks can be bought there. When the door opens to the cinema, you have to go up a flight of stairs. People with walking difficulties or wheelchair users may be allowed in through the exit door to the cinema. This can be agreed upon at the ticket office. Lovely seats, sofa and plenty of legroom.

24/04/2026: We drove to Allinge and the old post office to have a good time and eat some good food. The service was super good and we were made to feel welcome. We had a lovely Wienerschnitzel and good beer. Unfortunately, dogs are allowed in the restaurant. There were several dogs. They barked loudly several times. So we hurried to finish eating and left. Unfortunately, we won't be back.
03/04/2026: The food was good and so was the service, but the selection (evening menu) was a bit too limited and the prices relatively high. We could choose between veal, lobster soup or a dish with shrimp. In principle, there was also a trout dish, but it was a starter and would cost 285.
