Mega good service, we were serviced by Thea, mega good humor and very attentive and with a sweet smile that is contagious. The food tasted really nice and the steak was delicious.

The golden ox in Viborg must have reviewed their steak sandwich with sauce today. We arrived approx. 11.35 and was shown to the table by a nice and smiling young lady. Steak sandwich with sauce was ordered at 11.48 and was served at our table exactly at 12.08. The food looks really nice on the deep plate. Brioche bun is really delicious and soft, the meat is approx. 180-200 grams of dry aged ground beef that is perfectly cooked through, Rosa likes them, but in this case it doesn't matter because the meat is so flavorful and you can sense that it has been grilled. Really delicious. The buns are smeared in a Dijon mustard which is flavorful and balanced so that it doesn't come over. Ketchup and remoulade are also well-matched and I would guess that it is all homemade without being sure, the taste is in any case full without filling too much.. The pickled beetroot tasted wonderful and almost melted on the tongue, the pickled red onions had a bite to them and it did some good for the court. In addition, there were homemade roasted onions which were perfect and a nice amount without being nauseating. In addition, there were both chives and spring onions, which just make things taste fresh. The sky sauce is a song that must be sung loudly and the hymn that is sung is Hallelujah, it tasted fantastic, really wonderful taste. Now I usually say that for a steak sandwich there should be plenty of sauce, and here maybe there could have been more, but I thought it was appropriate. Everything in this steak sandwich was carefully selected and given love. The portion cost DKK 158 and included in the price was a nice large portion of French fries with home-made aioli which also tasted great (couldn't eat them though as it was a bit of a waste of food). But try listening here. Viborg and resturant the golden ox is a place you just have to visit, good food, beautiful surroundings, charming place, good price, good service. Super cozy place, with a fantastic courtyard, where the atmosphere is top notch. Sweet, friendly and smiling waiter. Can be highly recommended. Even our dog got attention and water.

På hotelophold i Viborg, fik lyst til at prøve et sted med en god bøf. Ankom og fik bord i en hyggelig gårdhave. Bestilte tournedos, virkelig lækker mør bøf og lækkert tilbehør, samt bearnaisesauce. Fik en super fin service.
