Det Elektriske Hjørne København

I wholeheartedly recommend this place. We found them by accident, while drinking canned food in a cafe to warm up. At first glance, the place looks like an ordinary bar, but you can get there not only snacks and beer, but also delicious warm drinks and sweet desserts. We decided on a cake, a muffin, hot chocolate and "tea". The pastries melted in your mouth and were served warm. The chocolate was closer to cocoa than real hot chocolate, but it was still very good. The tea turned out to be a delicious infusion of lime, mint, honey and ginger, which warmed us up incredibly on a windy day. A big advantage is that it is located close to the David Collection and Rosenborg Palace. The prices were also not very high for Copenhagen.

We went to Copenhagen for one day, and this was literally the first restaurant that we went to. It's more like a cafe, but it also functions as a restaurant because it serves amazing food. We went on a Saturday evening around five o'clock, and it was amazing. It was already packed, with a football game going on inside, creating a lively atmosphere with many young people. Outside, despite the cold weather, there were also a lot of young people sitting outside, having fun and drinking, which I love. It reminded me of the hustle and bustle in London and the lively atmosphere of Friday and Saturday nights there. I had the open sandwich with avocado, and my fiancé had a burger. He said it was one of the best burgers he's had. The prices were amazing. We each had a pint of beer, me with my sandwich and he with his burger, and we paid around 25 pounds for everything, which is a great price. The only downside was that our dishes didn't come with any sides. But other than that, everything was amazing. The food was ready quite quickly, and the place was clean and lovely inside, so we really liked it. We'll definitely go back. It's a great casual place.

On our first day in Copenhagen, after walking round for a while wondering where to grab a bit of lunch we came across Cafe Det Elektriske Hjoerne, a fairly priced cafe/bar with a great relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty food. Very glad we chose this place. You simply pay at the bar and food is brought out to you. The english gentleman from Nottingham who works there was particularly friendly and welcoming, I didn’t catch his name

Excellent and cozy place - however, the guests are generally on the very young side. 18-21 year olds often make up the majority of guests

We discovered it almost by chance and there we found everything we needed: good food - and generous portions - for a few crowns, a quiet pub mood and good drinks. The Italian staff were the best, they made us feel at home, super kind and friendly. I highly recommend anyone staying nearby to stop by for dinner or a drink with friends. The potatoes and sandwiches are very, very good!

The avocado and egg sandwich was the best we've ever eaten, we couldn't stop raving about it. The service is very nice, especially the waiter, very charming :)

Kind of unusual place but with good atmosphere and selection of draft beer.

As soon as we came in we have been asked to choose a table, but then no one came to take our order. At the end we had to go and order ourselves… Other than this – drinks were perfect !
