It was a bit out of season, so it was a bit of a hmmmm experience. The main dish was Wiener Schnitzel with baked potatoes etc. There was also the fish of the day. Wine Ok and the food was well prepared, but a bit unimaginative.

The Old Post Office serves good food. We were a bit unlucky with the waiter's mood, but he may have had a bad day. That shouldn't deter others from visiting this excellent restaurant in Allinge. 5 stars from me. ❤️

Got to bring the dogs in! Got to mix the 2 dishes of the day with 2 starters in addition! Otherwise somewhat absent waiter. Good wines in half bottles!

If the weather is good and you need a good deal on a drink like a G/T or maybe an Aperol Spritz, you can get it at a good price before 5 pm and can sit outside and enjoy it. If you don't like alcohol, there is also coffee and cake.

06/09/2025: Those were some of the best burgers I've ever eaten. And I used to work at an upscale burger joint myself. :-) The sliders, in particular, are highly (!) recommended! Definitely worth a visit.
06/09/2025: Super tasty burgers, highly recommended. We had Brioche Sliders, which are 3 different smaller burgers. Each one has its own little taste experience. Well above the usual standard. And the local beer went very well with it too. If you're in Sandvig and you're hungry, don't miss this.

21/11/2025: Rønne bio is a spacious and cozy cinema. There is a small exhibition from various shops in Rønne. Wait for a seat before you come down and buy tickets. Remember to draw a number before you go down the stairs to the waiting room. Tickets, sweets and drinks can be bought there. When the door opens to the cinema, you have to go up a flight of stairs. People with walking difficulties or wheelchair users may be allowed in through the exit door to the cinema. This can be agreed upon at the ticket office. Lovely seats, sofa and plenty of legroom.
