Will definitely be back! An absolutely fabulous experience everything was perfect - food, service and drinks well matched.

If you are looking for an evening where everything comes together in one place – food, wine, atmosphere, service and price – then Det Glade Vanvid in Viborg is just the place. And yes, it lives up to its name: it is almost crazy how well it all works. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a staff that really has things under control. Smiling, professional and present without being intrusive. The service is top notch – here, the details have really been thought of, and you feel taken care of all the way through. The food? A pleasure. Tasteful, beautifully presented and coordinated to perfection. The wine matches perfectly and flows without you having to ask – and it all comes together in that way where you feel a little spoiled. And then the best part: the price. For that level of quality, wine ad libitum and the overall experience, it is almost too good to be true. You really get a lot for your money, and it feels like a luxury experience without the luxury price. The only slight downside? There were a lot of guests that night, and you were seated a bit close together. It was a bit noisy and made it difficult to have a quiet conversation. But honestly – when that's the only thing you can put your finger on, it's probably something to live with.

We had a wonderful evening at Det Glade Vanvid. The evening passed incredibly fast in the good atmosphere and with excellent food. I must admit that we waited a season for a menu that appealed to our taste buds for a first time visit, but it was worth the wait. And we will be going back to try out another menu in the near future. The staff were excellent and helpful. When we asked about an ingredient that in the butter that I was allergic to, they not only took away the but asked the chefs for an alternative. And a huge thank you to the chefs for going out of their way and making a substitute for the food allergy on short notice. All around I was blown away by the quality of the dishes. The presentation was amazing as well as the taste. For a first time diner I recommend reading the suggested wine pairing on the menu on the table for a better experience. One suggestion to those not used to the taste of the non-alcoholic wines is to taste a bit first before assuming it tastes like the regular wine. The selection didn't match any of the dishes. I decided it was better to take a sip of the regular wines rather than ruin the dining experience with the alcohol-free wines.
