Fantastic food and the whole way the concept is built up and with the drink bar and that's what's missing to get the last star one of our guests doesn't drink wine and beer which wasn't a problem as there was juice....But with soda the only thing she drank the whole evening was water. But the food and everything else perfect we'll be back

A great gastronomic experience divided into three courses and an appetizer. An entire evening's experience starting with bubbles and ending with coffee, cake and avec. During dinner, beer, wine and water are ad libitum. The only downside is the slightly narrow selection of wine. Otherwise, the place can really be recommended. Here you really get something good for the taste buds and all together in a calm atmosphere.

Really good experience! The food was really delicious all round and good wines. The service was also top notch. I have a nut allergy and had informed in advance about this - and it was handled at UG! Both the alternative nut-free dishes from the kitchen, but also communication from the waiters, who were nice to ask and adjust rather than taking chances. Would love to come again 🤩

We were in the forehead on the left. 🥂 Beautiful evening with good atmosphere. The food was lovely. The wine smooth but good. It is often a challenge for restaurants to include protein in the dish for a vegetarian. Also here. But something special had been made and it tasted heavenly, so big 🌟 for that. And it's great that the acoustics are excellent and that no music was played. So good conditions for conversation without being disturbed by neighboring tables. Absolutely recommendable. Also for vegetarians. 🍀👍

We had a fantastic evening at Det Glade Vanvid, where the food really impressed. The appetizer with wasabi panna cotta and hand-peeled prawns was fresh and delicious. The starter with cod loins, fennel à la orange and browned butter vinaigrette was a harmonious taste experience, while the main course with tender duck breast, South Jutland Christmas cabbage and sauce with rum and lingonberries tasted heavenly. The dessert of dried fruit, pistachio ice cream and rice salamander was a perfect ending. The food does not stand alone – the 7 different wines from the wine bar, carefully selected by the sommelier, complemented the dishes in the most beautiful way and felt like a small wine tasting in itself. In addition, 2 types of beer were also offered, which provided extra variety. All in all, a fantastic experience with delicious food, good drinks and a cozy atmosphere. We are already looking forward to the next visit!

Overall assessment 3/5 Very good value for money. It is DKK 499, all inclusive, per person on a weekday. Drinks were on a table in the middle of the restaurant, but it is ad libitum. The atmosphere is good, but a bit noisy because the tables are very close together. There is something relaxing about the fact that the choices have been made for what is on the menu and you can sit back and enjoy the experience. Some of the flavor combinations don't quite hit the mark, but overall it was good food and good drink. You won't be disappointed, but you won't be overwhelmed either. Aperitif 3/5 nothing special, but quite ok. The mini mozzarella was good and fun. Appetizer 2/5 There was a slightly mixed reception to the appetizer. The starter seemed a bit haphazardly put together and the flavors were not allowed to interact freely. The juice(?) of shellfish and citrus tasted more like old fish, possibly just too much fish. There was one who really liked the starter but not the pears. If you are looking for the most wine for the money: 5/5. The wines are good. The red wine was a bit cold and the white wine too warm. I wonder if they have switched between red and white wine? The elderflower evening cannot be recommended, it tastes nothing. Main course 4/5 Here the flavors went better together, especially the stuffed leek was a positive surprise. The meat was tender and went well with the pickled plums. For some, the main course brought associations to childhood and good memories. Dessert 4/5 There were slightly divided, but overall very positive opinions about the dessert. Some thought it was refreshing to have a dessert without salted caramel or chocolate, while others missed something salty or bitter to contrast with the overwhelmingly sweet apple-dominated mousse and ice cream. The hazelnut ice cream was outstanding. The dessert wine was impeccable and pulled up to a four. Coffee and sweet with a sharp one The apple brandy had no apple flavor, but was perfectly fine as a brandy. The room was nothing to write home about, it is not recommended. There was too much alcohol in the room. Good coffee, but a bit thin. The cake with the coffee was also good.
