Det Glade Vanvid Aarhus

Fantastic food and well-chosen wine to go with it. Great concept. However, I thought it went a little too fast. There was almost no waiting time between courses. A little stressed but would happily come back.

A really lovely experience! Called a few hours before and got a nice table for 2. A very smiling, sweet and welcoming waiter seated us and presented the menu with a snack and bubbles. Delicious well-composed dishes, as well as good wines ad libitum. Especially the Riesling for the starter was delicious. 1200 kr for 2 people is definitely worth the money!

Really great food, service and concept. They let everyone in at the same time so get there on time. They explain all of the food and have alternatives for anyone who has dietary requirements. They have a central ‘island’ where you can free-pour your own wine (which is a great feature as people often drink at different rates) which is all included in the price. Lovely atmosphere and really enjoyed the meal. 20-25 min walk from the train station as well.

One menu for all......everyone was seated at 18:30 and served a glass of Cava, so far so good. The next couple of hours you become part of joint venture of very tastful servings accompanied by wines available ad libitum from the cooled wine bar/display, as much as you would like. All courses (4) was announced by the friendly staff that stayed vigilant and smiling throughout the evening. Nice surrounding with the new harbour as a beautiful backdrop to the cosy atmosphere. A perfect experience for the fixed price of DKK 695,- per person. My best recommendations

A frenzy with great taste experiences.

I had received a gift card from my adult children for an event at "the happy madness" in Aarhus... I am really full of impressions today. What a fantastic experience - a big wish came true. I had my little grandson with me aged 8 months and we were excited to see how it would go... we didn't have to worry... he enjoyed himself and charming both the waiters and many of the guests. At first the food experience was really towering until several explosions of taste impressions. Plenty of delicious wine in the self-service buffet and properly tempered. The waiters were really VERY service minded, sweet and welcoming and with lots of smiles and enthusiasm. We lacked nothing. They even had time to enjoy the little man and make sure my daughter enjoyed the evening without worrying about being an inconvenience. They had placed us perfectly right in a corner by the door and with a nice high chair... THANK YOU 🙏 The plates were truly sublime and a sight to behold. And lots of bread and herbal cream. Delicious and tasteful decor in beautiful rooms by the marina. Worth all the money to come for (Horsens/Vejle). We will come again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ +⭐️

Fantastic atmosphere and surroundings. The interior is completely dark and it is absolutely perfect, so that there is 100% attention on the food. The food was top notch in terms of quality, taste and aroma. The staff is young and fresh, with the right amount of attention to detail. The only minus, which is unfortunately there, is the acoustics, which could well be better, when the atmosphere gets loud, the noise level also rises. BUT this is not the last time we will be pampered at Det glade vivid
