The historic ambiance, combined with typical Danish cuisine, is served by cheerful and competent staff. You immediately feel welcome and at ease. The restaurant consists of several rooms, each named after a famous Danish figure, such as Hans Christian Andersen. They were all once guests there.

Det Lille Apotek impresses with its cozy, rustic atmosphere, making you feel right at home. The friendly and humorous service added to the pleasant experience. 😊 There was plenty to discover on the menu: The stew, a hearty meat and sausage stew served with mashed potatoes and bacon, was absolutely delicious. Our personal highlight, however, was the small fish platter! 🐟 Afterwards, we treated ourselves to a cheese platter with two different jams and a lemon mousse, which perfectly rounded off our visit. If you're looking to enjoy traditional, hearty cuisine in a charming, historic setting in Copenhagen, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Amazing restaurant, I’ve been here while on vacation with a friend. Both our dishes were amazing, I had the roasted duck, which is a typical Christmas dinner dish, they served it with an amazing gravy and pickled cabbage and potatoes. The place is small and quite cozy, tables are pretty close to one another to allow as many seats as possible. I would suggest reserving a table as the place is always quite packed (rightfully so:) ) I generally avoid restaurants in the city centred as they can easily be tourist traps, this one has been suggested by many and I have to admit it’s quite good. Also, the prices are in line with the Copenhagen market and the quality is pretty high. Also, the server who served at our table has been super kind and available at all times:)

Good danish traditional food, and good atmosphere. But we were told that the restaurant couldn’t provide us with any more free bread, yet another waiter brought extra bread to the table next to us. This was quite strange and confusing, and it left us wondering why the same request was handled differently.

A bit expensive, but the food and the sweet and entertaining staff made it a lovely experience!

We booked dinner for 7 pm, and the two-person table was quite cramped, with only 10 centimeters between us and the next table. We ordered roasted duck and pork, but the portions were too huge to finish. The taste was just average, nothing special. The beef stew with mashed potatoes that other people ordered looked much better. However, I knew from the reviews that this place is all about the atmosphere and ambiance.
