Great place for an authentic smørrebrød with an aquavit. I ordered one with pickled herring, onion, and capers. Very tasty. They have a snaps (aquavit) menu with about 15 different options. The food menu suggests which aquavit to pair with your dish. Skagen is a typical coastal destination for domestic tourism; you don't see many tourists. This place was full of Danes; it's not a tourist trap.

Delicious and great bistro atmosphere. Those traditional toasts are perfect for any meal. Locals also go there, which is a good sign. Definitely recommend 👍
