Doneros Shawarma Herlev

Came because of good reviews, and it is still an excellent Durum. But no more than that. Bread is homemade but not baked sufficiently, no burn marks unfortunately, so it becomes a slightly tasteless experience. The meat is nicely seasoned but unfortunately does not have enough roast crust. So it ends up being a slightly dry and grey experience. If these two things were changed it could well be one of the better ones in the Copenhagen area. But until then it is only above average.

Absolutely fine and clean shawarma place. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was okay, not the best and not the worst. We ordered their homemade pita with shawarma. The bread did not taste quite fresh and the meat was very spicy. However, the pitas were well filled and large. All in all a nice experience.

Donero's Shawarma delivers a solid sharwarma every time. The food at Donero's is really delicious. The shawarma is undoubtedly the star section, with juicy meat that is perfectly seasoned and grilled. I chose a shawarma with meat and a durum, it was a real taste experience – the meat was tender and full of flavour, and the fresh toppings such as tomato, onion and herbs gave the dish a nice boost. What really sets Donero's apart are their homemade sauces that add an extra dimension to the taste – the tahini sauce and the strong chilli sauce are particularly worth recommending. Donero's Shawarma really delivers on both quality and taste, and if you are looking for a solid shawarma experience, this is the place. I highly recommend a visit - it's a place where you can always count on getting something delicious and satisfying.

Tasty shawarma, good chili, hummus and spread. Their bowl with rice and shawarma is at the top. 👌♥️ Definitely 10/10. Can be recommended.

Excellent shawarma, one of the better ones. However, I think their meat is marinated a little too long compared to The cell quality of the meat - as if it has started to dissolve itself a little. Very tender. A bit like if it is left in sous vide for too long, the meat's fibers break down too much. Overall really nice place, only gets 4 as another competitor is still at the top. The durum rolls are a bit small in my opinion, but OK. Good taste, lovely dressings. Spicy delicious but a bit too tender meat. Delicious bread, not super friendly compared to Operation. You are "just" a number and must also pick up the food yourself when it is ready. Things are going a little too fast at Doneros if you ask me. Quality over quantity. @foodbymilbo

Watch out there- you get addicted- super juicy meat and everything fresh... I had to wait to eat it because the meat had almost just been cut and got into the super good homemade pita bread... will be back again as soon as I'm around. Thanks
