Dragsholm Slot Gourmet Odsherred

Extraordinary experience. We booked the gourmet-stay with a night in the castle and the Michelin gourmet dinner. We had matching wine menu and started out adding a glass of Louis roederer batch 244 champagne to the snacks. The food was exceptional, well deserving of the star. The wine menu was very well matched to the dishes and the sommelier was very good at introducing the wines. What really also set this experience apart from other Michelin experiences I had this year, was their ability to serve flavourful and outstanding dishes while accommodating my allergy towards onion and garlic (Which meant I had to have special sauces etc). The experience lasted 6 hours, which was maybe a bit too long as we were quite full 4 hours in. This meant I couldn’t finish half of my wineglasses and the last 5 dishes of the experience. It seems most people was there for 5-6 hours, but I presume the special sauces for me required some extra time for the chefs which is very understandable. The location was beautiful in the countryside and I would definitely recommend to always book an overnight experience here. In addition you had the castle for yourself to roam around and use the facilities, consisting of game rooms, various couch areas, a bar and a museum. The breakfast in the stables was also great, but it was hard to get up early enough when we first finished dinner at 1 AM. So we chose the late breakfast and missed the museum guide. Overall - we absolutely LOVED it, and will definitely come again.

Was invited to a birthday party with an overnight stay at the castle itself. Super good food, fantastic premises and the room was very true to the castle. Very nice and present staff.

Overall a good dinner, presentation for the courses was beautiful and well done, all local and seasonal ingredients. I would describe the dishes as creative (hemp ice cream with caviar) and the duck was delicious. The other dishes were good not incredible. I would say what was lacking was consistency of service, dishes were not served at consistent timing, especially later in the evening. We started at 6pm and after 11pm we were still going through our desserts. And inexperienced staff, in terms of the extras - we would return to the table after going to the loo, napkins were not folded, Not consistent at replenishing water etc. Definitely worth eating there if you are going to Dragsholm Slot but not sure it is worth the drive

The historic atmosphere situated in one of the most beautiful Danish landscapes creates the perfect surroundings for the incredible and stunning service and dinner that Dragsholm Slot delivers. We had the most luxurious, relaxing stay at Dragsholm Slot and we are definitely back for more.

Nice place. Fantastic surroundings, for example with a walk along the beach to nearby Vejrhøj. Also some of the best food you can get in a nice basement restaurant.

A beautiful old castle, with a really good view.

There was no room for clothes. Otherwise a nice place.

Had a really amazing dinner last night. Everything was delicious but also beautifully presented. Loved the amuses bouches
