Dueodde Familiecamping & Hostel Bornholm

Beautiful campsite behind the dunes. Now, in mid-September, there's hardly anything going on; the site is getting emptier and emptier. Nice terrain, even for tents. The restrooms are good. Fresh rolls and sweets are available in the morning at normal prices.

Nice location and close to the beach. Good access to electricity and water, a little further to toilets, dishes, kitchen and washing machines. Ok restaurant and shop. Nice and helpful atmosphere between the guests at the campsite.

Visited June 2025 (Road Trip 2025) Dueodde is located in the south of the sunny island of Bornholm and is about 30 km from the ferry port in Rønne. The site is located directly behind the dunes on a fine, wide sandy beach and is unzoned! The power poles are equipped with CEE connections and are distributed throughout the site. Depending on the location, a longer power cable might be helpful. There are various fresh water taps along the entire site. The front part, facing the sea, is "car-free" and open only to campers. At the entrance to the site, next to the reception, there is a small shop selling bread rolls and a café/restaurant (with a pizza buffet in the evenings, for example). Two central sanitary buildings are located on the site. There are also family bathrooms. The rest is unisex. Showers operate with a chip card, which is charged at the end. A camper's kitchen, washing-up facilities, waste disposal, and a fish cleaning area are also available. Washing machines/dryers are also available (for a fee). There is also an indoor swimming pool during the summer months. Facts: - Wi-Fi available (free of charge) - Camper's kitchen with cooking facilities, refrigerators, ovens, etc. - Showers (with chip card) - Family bathrooms - Unmarked pitches - Children's playground - Indoor swimming pool open in summer - Electricity included - Dogs allowed (15 DKK/20 DKK depending on the season) Price: €37 per night (including all utilities - off-season!) Great location on the south coast of Bornholm. Fine sandy beach and small dunes. Not far from the Dueodde Lighthouse. Good starting point for exploring the southern part of Bornholm.

A beautifully located site in the dunes, surrounded by light pine forest. Friendly couple who run it, and advance online booking is easy and convenient. Unfortunately, the pitches aren't clearly marked out, which has advantages (like ours when relatively empty), but can also be a disadvantage when full. So, it's best for the off-season. Very good!
