Egholm Vestergaard Aalborg

On June 7, 2025, we held our wedding at Egholm Vestergaard. Already during the first conversation and tour of Vestergaard, we were sold on the place, there is an incredible calm over the fantastic buildings and you feel very welcome. It was a perfect experience to hold our wedding at Egholm Vestergaard, everything went perfectly and everyone had a fantastic party with top-class food and drinks. Jens and Daniel are incredibly good hosts and have complete control and a huge knowledge of everything from food and drinks to the premises. We can definitely recommend holding a party at Egholm Vestergaard.

Fantastic grilled turbot and really good wine that went perfectly. The surroundings and nature provide a setting that not many places can offer. Had a walk around the troll and the beautiful salt meadows.

It’s not very often I write reviews, but Egholm Vestergaard truly deserves one — I want to share my genuinely blown-away experience. I’ve had the pleasure of attending several events at the property since day one of the new ownership and have seen the remarkable transformation — both in the atmosphere of the building and in what’s served on the plates and in the glasses. Egholm isn’t just a hotel; it’s a grand home that welcomes you with warmth, candlelight, art, and a beautiful mix of classic charm and modern elegance. Their signature dishes — the BBQ turbot grilled over an open fire and the striploin from cows grazing right outside the windows — couldn’t be more local or more delicious. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and another unforgettable experience at Egholm Vestergaard.
