Good: salsa and service. Rest of the food was monotone. We Got large menu 1. Starters: nachos with wings and toppers which was quite boring and a weird combination. Main faijtas with chicken and beef. Both Were very sweet and it wasn’t balanced. Desert was the best sweet cinnamon chips with icecream. It was very sweet. In general the portions were very Big. I can eat a lot and could finish, but the rest of table could not. It seemed to be “old fashioned” style and lacked flavour, menu and plating was as 20 years ago. Restaurant seems not to have adapted to a time, where Danes like a little punch. And expensive compared to quality

No fuss Mexican restaurant in Copenhagen's City Center, we stumbled in as a group of three by chance, no reservations needed. The service was very friendly, the Margheritas were nice. The food was okay, not spicy enough for Mexican but nonetheless okay.

Very good and tasty food. The ambience is also very good.

Awesome place, great food with attentive service. Would love to return. Ask for "Mexican spicy" to get "normal" spice level, unless you are used to Scandinavian spice levels.

Food was decent. Service left alot to be desired but wasnt terrible. Mood was pretty good... but they need to up their cleaning, dust and cobwebs on wall decor

Friendly staff and good Mexican food

A few nights ago we went for a walk through Copenhagen looking for a decent restaurant. We came across El Viejo Mexico and were quite hesitant as we had tried another Mexican restaurant a few nights previous and walked out after 20 minutes due to a lack of service and questionable food. I must say we were absolutely blown away with not only the ‘right’ level of service and friendliness from all of the staff, the food was also absolutely delectable! We started off with their signature Nacho’s and chicken and Jalapeño Poppers, both were cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Our main meals, a Steak Chimichanga and a Chicken Burrito were also devine. The meat on both of the mains was spiced to perfection and tender and quite flavoursome spiced to perfection. The ambience of the restaurant was quite good although we chose to eat at the tables on the footpath as it was such a beautiful day, there was very little traffic or noise, and it wasn’t crowded and allowed us to people watch allowing us to have a feeling of spaciousness whilst dining. We were thoroughly impressed with this restaurant and if you feel like high quality authentic Mexican cuisine in a lovely atmosphere with equally fantastic staff this is your go to restaurant in Copenhagen.

Perfekt service. Trevlig, serviceinriktad personal. Fantastiskt god Margarita liksom Pina colada. Mysig atmosfär. Maten var fantastisk. Vi tog in Chili con queso till förrätt och den var så god. Huvudrätterna var smakfulla och vackert upplagda. Bra bemötande av vår dotter med allergier.
