Just an average cafe with pretty good coffee but dry and boring pastries.

Loved it so much. The employees were really kind and helpful. We had a very tasty cinnamon bun with chocolate and shared a delicious strawberry shortcake. We're going back in to get a snack for our afternoon!!

You can think what you want about Emmerys. Some are fans, some are not. I am not! But a few of their baked goods are excellent. Otherwise too sour for my taste. The store on Øster Farimagsgade is the epicenter for the creative class. For many residents of the Potato rows. The alternative gets a lot of votes here. It is spiritual surplus people who come there. You can feel it in the atmosphere. Some find it annoying because people are "real"; I think it's fine enough. I have lived in the neighborhood (Øster Farimagsgade) all the years the bakery has been there. And I only shop there out of necessity. The latte is boring and the bread expensive (like many other places). But the service is a bit annoying, although the staff are nice enough. Especially the two older ladies, who look exactly like the skin of a dot and are not sisters, are a bit slow and dumb about it. But the others are also a bit slow - especially when there is a run on. Many people order coffee and it takes a long time. There should be a system so that one person makes coffee. Then the others can move on to the next customer instead of having to wait for the customer to have their coffee. Another minus is that there is no customer toilet. I actually thought that wasn't legal when you run a cafe business.

A fine small cafe with a fair coffee and pastry. Overall a fine establishment, but nothing extraordinary. Fair prices considering the location of inner Copenhagen.
