Lots of atmosphere and cozy decor, very delicious food, sweet service and our food came quickly even though there were many guests. (It would be good with more wardrobe space for outerwear)

We visited the Empire restaurant in downtown Fredrikshavn. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The menu isn't extensive—mostly steaks and burgers—but everything was prepared perfectly. We ordered the Jack Daniels burger—juicy, flavorful, and with a rich sauce. We were very pleased and will definitely be back.

Empire is such a great place to be. No matter for what occasion - if you just want to have a drink or grab some dinner. The staff is friendly! The food and drinks super tasty. I got the fillet with peber sauce and it was so good! The Chai Latte is also very tasty. If you have the chance to come here, I highly recommend doing it! :)

26/12/2025: Now Restaurant Luna, Italian. You can sit on the terrace under lovely large umbrellas. The staff is quick, the menus are concise and in Danish, but still understandable. Communication was in English. The wine selection is extensive. You pay inside (cash only). Very tasteful ambiance. Our food was delicious. For a man with a big appetite, the portion of Lasagna al Forno would have been a bit small. It was enough for me. The Pizza Luna Speciale and Pasta Rigattone Salmone were the usual generous size. The wine, Don Franco Primitivo, was really good. We'll definitely be back.
01/10/2025: We were there this afternoon for coffee and cake and enjoyed the beautiful weather on the large terrace. The staff first brought water for our dogs, which I really appreciated. The service itself was incredibly friendly and in a good mood. There was always someone nearby without being intrusive. The food was delicious, and we also loved the atmosphere. We'd love to come back next time we visit Skagen.
