Espresso House København

The bathroom was the most disgusting of all the ones I've been to. A disgrace.

I won't say the desserts, croissants, and bakery in general aren't delicious, or that the coffees aren't HUGE and high quality, because they are… but around 40 euros for a cake, a roll, and two cappuccinos, in a place similar to Starbucks? I know it's Copenhagen 💸… but 🫪

It is located in front of the town hall in the central square, good coffee and a beautiful location, the prices are slightly high but in line with the Copenhagen average, an espresso costs around 35 DKK which is almost 5€

The best coffee you’ll find in Copenhagen. Brits - Don’t be fooled by the familiarity of a McDonald’s coffee. The Danish drink this coffee and they’re absolutely everywhere. The staff are super friendly and all speak English (embarrassed to not speak Danish but they’re all so friendly) Well worth getting a plastic tumbler cup for around £3/4 as a souvenir too!

We really liked this place for our quick morning breakfast and coffee. The staff were always so polite and quick.

It's so hard to make a good flat white! It's so massive and industrial; it looks more like a university cafeteria than a specialty coffee shop!

Great food and drinks in a convivial atmosphere with friendly service. Espresso House faces on to the main square and offers a variety of seating with some giving access to charging sockets. A nice stopping off point for a break.

I think their drinks are generally excellent, but the cardboard straws that everyone is forced to use are terrible. You can't enjoy your drink without changing it 3-4 times because it gets sticky.

The food was very good even if the staff who was serving us did a mistake but we did enjoyed anyway
