Just been to a party at Ewaldsgaarden. And it was super good. Cozy place, with a relaxed style, and then the food is top notch👍. Highly recommend checking this place out.

We ate with friends at Evaldsgården and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Perfect spring menu with lovely wines. But the best thing is the almost familial atmosphere at the place. The owners' little girl came by several times sitting on mom or dad who does all the work herself! We ate for 4 with 3 dishes and wine for everyone for DKK 750 per person - worth all the money!!!!

We picked up take away from Ewaldsgaarden on a Thursday at 18.00 and drove 2 km to a car park overlooking the sea, and enjoyed the unrivaled Chinese meal, which consisted of wontons with prawns and pork and dan dan noodles. Everything made from scratch. We will do that again.

We live locally in town and discovered this hidden gem by accident! You are greeted by the sweetest owners and invited inside a wonderfully cozy restaurant. The food is fantastic gourmet level, where you can really feel that a passionate chef is in the kitchen. When we were there we had dumplings among other things, inspired by the fact that the chef/owner had just been to Hong Kong and made dumplings with the locals - and this gave a starter which was a huge experience. The dessert is the best I have ever had. It will be our new home!

A delicious experience. We absolutely loved our dinner at Ewaldsgaarden. You feel like a special guest at this family-run restaurant. Delicious fresh food, good portions, beautiful presentation, nice wine - all in a really cute and friendly setting. We can’t wait to come back and sit outside in the cozy garden once it gets warmer.

20/07/2024: The food market in the old shipyard is a good choice if you want to eat something in the harbor area. In the front hall there are snack bars with various regional cuisines, a large bar and some seats in the middle. There is something for every taste. We ate there twice and were satisfied each time. In the second, larger room is Helsingør's largest living room, full of cozy old furniture. It's much quieter here and at least in the evenings, when the day tourists were gone, the hall was almost empty. Outside the hall there is plenty of seating on both sides.
