We went for an anniversary celebration and were given complementary champagne, which we loved. Our server was friendly and efficient, and our window table was great for views of the garden and well spaced from others.

Fasangården is more than just a restaurant—it’s a hidden gem in the heart of Frederiksberg Gardens, where history, charm, and hospitality come together seamlessly. Though I have yet to try the food, I visit weekly for a drink, and every time, I am met with warmth, kindness, and exceptional service which keeps me coming back. The team here truly makes the experience special. They always welcome me with a smile, making this unique place feel like a home away from home. The setting is breathtaking—steeped in history, yet effortlessly inviting. Whether enjoying a quiet moment in the beautiful courtyard or soaking in the timeless atmosphere indoors, there’s a sense of tranquility that keeps me coming back. A place like this is rare, not just for its beauty but for the people who bring it to life. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Super nice surroundings, sweet, friendly and attentive service. A bit awkward to be offered a more expensive glass of wine for DKK 150 when you have already placed an order for a glass for DKK 100. The sandwiches were very tasty, but the size and taste certainly did not match the price of DKK 125 for a potato dish. It was half a circle and not a cm bigger. Although it was nicely decorated and tasted good, it is my experience that you pay for the place and atmosphere and not so much for the food.

Restauranten har flere meget hyggelige lokaler med god akustik og god plads mellem bordene. Vi fik deres tre retters aftenmenu. Det var alt sammen meget lækkert og velsmagende, nydeligt anrettet og præsenteret. Tjenerne var meget venlige men knapt så hurtige. Vinkortet er stort med vanvittige dyre vine. Svært st finde noget til under 600kr flasken. Kan trods de høje vinpriser varmt anbefale stedet.

Great place for a dinner and lovely staff. Portions are really big, and apparently they grow some of their vegetables and honey is coming from the garden. The building is around 400 years old, if you are going after the garden is closed, they come to pick you up to garden’s door. Definitely going back there in spring. We were so happy with the waiters.
