Beautiful little oasis in Frederiksberg Have. The pheasant farm in Frederiksberg Have was built in 1682 as a residence for the king's pheasant master, who raised pheasants for the king's hunting parties. Just over 100 years later - in 1785 - the pheasantry was closed down, after which the widow of the pheasant master continued to run the place as an inn.

Since the pheasant farm is mentioned in migogkbh As a good lunch place, my expectations were probably screwed up. Came by and asked for a table They couldn't, despite many empty tables in the yard. Knows well that the kitchen and serving must be able to keep up Outside the restaurant I checked their website and was able to book a table for 9 minutes later. I did that We got chicken salad which was quite genderless Herring food and potato food were really good The fish fillet on this dish was deep-fried, yes Fast and polite service

The food was actually quite good, but the service was slow and lacked any presence or passion. The Wiener schnitzel is clearly preferable.

I had expected something a la Aamanns, but the food is at most canteen level from Meyers. Decent, but nothing to write home about and certainly not worth paying that much for - it didn't seem freshly made. The service was also not impressive and not particularly child-friendly. The place and the location are wonderful.

Fasangården is a hidden gem that you absolutely need to visit if you’re in Copenhagen! My wife and I recently enjoyed a delightful lunch here, and I can’t recommend it enough. Nestled in a charming courtyard, it’s the perfect spot for a sunny summer day. The highlight? Danish smørrebrød! As Danes ourselves, we have plenty of experience with this culinary specialty, and I can confidently say that Fasangården serves some of the best. We had two each, and every bite was a fantastic. Paired with a bottle of champagne, it was an absolute treat. The ambiance is relaxed, the service impeccable, and the food? Fantastic. If you’re looking to dive into some local specialties, Fasangården is the place to be. Just make sure to bring an appetite and a love for great food and good vibes🥂

En afslappet aften med det skønneste mad, det sødeste personale og de smukkeste omgivelser. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen!

Top professionel modtagelse af ung tjener, som vi så havde resten af dette måltid. Han var dansk/fransk med et godt kendskab til både maden og vinen. Vi valgte en flaske god rødvin, Le Galouchey som var dyr og dejlig ! Menuen var virkelig lækker og af de bedste råvarer, og en dygtig kok ! Lokalerne var meget smukke og en rimelig akustik, men de fine slagbænke er ikke gode for en hel aften med lækker mad og vin.
