Small cozy place, with an interesting historical background. Sweet and friendly service. I had coffee and cake, but a bit of a shame that you have to ask for a napkin yourself. And there was no teaspoon or sugar with the coffee. The cake was very small and dry, but it still tasted good.

Det var vist ikke køkkenets dag - en wienersnitzel i den dyre ende skal IKKE frituresteges men smørsteges på pande. et glas hvidvin 150,-kr og et glas rødvin 130,-kr. en fadøl 80,- kr. (måske højeste pris i København) - der er plads til flere forbedringer og et mere normalt prisniveau - de 3 stjerner er alene til servitricen for super service og til køkkenet er der kun og sige, at det er en ommer.

We have nice lunch there. Nice food and very friendly staff. We have our dogs with us and they also bring water and snack for the dogs. Very welcome from the restaurant ☘️

Skøn tur gennem Frederiksberg have førte os til dette dejlige sted. Fantastisk mad vi fik serveret i den dejlige gårdhave, betjeningen var virkelig god. Kan helt klart anbefales.

28/04/2026: Paid 228 DKK for a butter chicken that didn’t come with rice. Man at the counter was like “you know it doesn’t come with rice right you need to pay extra”. I was shocked, every Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian place I’ve ever eaten at around the world provided rice with a curry, or it was simply baked into the price. 228 DKK without rice !!

15/06/2025: It was our first experience in Denmark, and we couldn't have wished for a better start. The place has a fantastic concept that we can highly recommend to anyone who appreciates genuine atmosphere and musical charm. It felt like stepping back 30 years in time – when you were still allowed to smoke indoors, and the atmosphere was intimate and authentic. We were pleasantly surprised by Signe (we hope we remember her name correctly), who dedicated a song to us – a really nice and personal gesture. The pianist and the other singers also delivered a strong and atmospheric performance. We were there on Wednesday – and we came back on Friday, it was that good! We felt very welcome and almost like regulars, even though we were the only tourists. We will definitely come back one day when we are back in Denmark.
