One of my favorite restaurants in Copenhagen. Peter is a fantastic chef who is very passionate about what he does. Get the mushrooms and the hamachi, they’re so so good

We were lucky enough to stumble into ferment on a Saturday without a reservation. Great food, great hospitality, great atmosphere. Dishes rivalling the best izakayas we’ve visited in Tokyo. Clear commitment to excellence from chef and his team.

I want to point out - I didn't eat so much food, a bit of bar food! Which was very good, especially the tuna and tomato salad! (I don't like koriander, but the tomatoes was amazing still). We had dinner before coming. We came for drinks and if you like sake, this place has a lot (also a lovely umeshu)! The owner knows his stuff. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful time, trying out different things on the drinks menu. I'll definitely come back for dinner another time! We were three friends and had a super fun time, but it's also a very date friendly place!

A unique experience and one that me and my team of architects wont forget. We discovered the restaurant by mistake the night before we ate and ended up drinking with the owner sat outside for hours. This set the scene for what the place is all about, a very personable experience. Coming back the next day, we had a full mix of food from the menu with even a special course made up for me. The plates were bursting with flavour and were paired with delicious sake. Served and cooked by the owner, you couldn't ask for a better service. After the meal, the owner sat with us and we spent a few hours listening to wonderful music, swapping tales and enjoying what I have become accustomed to to in Danish culture, which is incredible hosting. We will return!
