Flyvergrillen Tårnby

Flyvergrillen is a truly special place. Today my boyfriend showed me the area where Copenhagen ends and the airport begins, and this iconic grill bar is located here. The food is okay, you know exactly what you're getting, and there are actually other (increasingly rare) grill bars where both price and quality are a bit better. The service is excellent, though, and they're busy! But that's not why you come here at all. The real experience is to sit and eat while the planes take off and land right above your head. It's super fascinating, and the atmosphere is completely unique. There are always many aviation enthusiasts who can spend several hours watching the planes come and go, and the place is also popular with families with children. All in all, a unique place that is definitely worth a visit, regardless of whether you come for the food or the view. The place has also gradually become a cultural institution in itself 🤩

You can't get a plane juice here, but you can get a hotdog and watch a plane.

Well, in general it's a really good place, good food and cozy, good that we can sit inside sheltered from the Danish weather. I hope that Flyver grillen, if you approve the local plan, will expand indoor seating so that we can be sheltered from rain, wind and snow, cool weather.. mbh leif strandbech

Always a pleasure to come to the air grill. The kids love it. The food is above the standard of what you would expect from such a place.

Good food, many good dishes for cheap money

Great place - but really real barbecue food without any frills.... so not that good.
