Flyvergrillen Tårnby

A really awesome place to get something to eat! The food is good and there is a nice veiw of CPH Airport when the planes a taking off, if they are using the right runway!

Delicious food and a good view of the airplanes 😋

Flyvegrillen is a classic Danish grill bar located close to the runway at Copenhagen Airport Kastrup. The place has an aviation nostalgic and relaxed atmosphere and is known for its unique location where you can watch the planes take off and land from the terrace. The food is typical of a Danish fast food restaurant with hamburgers, sausages, chicken and traditional Danish grills on the menu. The portions are generous and the taste is solid, but far from gourmet. Flyvegrillen is known more for its charm than for its culinary level. We ordered biksemad (pityt in a pan) and minced beef with fried egg during our visit and received two very generous and tasty portions. Both dishes had a decent portion and seemed to be made with fresh ingredients. However, the mincemeat and béarnaise sauce seemed to be industrially produced. The prices are reasonable and the place is perfect for a quick meal in an informal atmosphere characterized by aviation. In many ways, the place offers an authentic and down-to-earth Danish dining experience that is becoming rare. During our visit there was some queuing to order and it took some time before the food was ready, it also appeared a bit chaotic in the kitchen. The service appeared friendly, but somewhat stressed. Flyvegrillen is worth a visit if you are looking for a classic grill bar experience, combined with a fantastic view of the air traffic, which gives the place an extra dimension. Based on this, we will visit the place again and can also recommend it to others

Nice place, not like it used to be, young staff who don't really bother, but the phone is important to them. The food is not very good, but the area is a good special if you get on a plane. Service does not exist unless you poke them a little...

The only place in Denmark of its kind, must be experienced
