It's a very good venue for events. We spent four days there for Salon Horsens 2025. The rooms, restrooms, and service were all top-notch. The building is impressive, even inside, and everything has been beautifully restored. The café at the entrance is highly recommended; it's best to head outside into the café's small courtyard. We didn't have time to visit the museum itself, so I can't comment on that.

Historical site with exciting offers and exhibition about the history of the place. We saw an exhibition of Tromp - l'æil art, where the artist was working during the visit.

21/04/2025: A good restaurant with a focus on Danish food. We had roast pork with parsley sauce. The pork was cooked well, but was very fatty. There were small white lumps in the sauce. Both parts help to give only 3 stars. The restaurant is well located down by the harbour/marina and a good place to go for a walk.
20/04/2025: We were recently visiting and wanted to have lunch. I ordered a steak sandwich with gravy and fries. Good thing it said that the steak sandwich was made simply. But unfortunately too simple for my taste. The steak was good and juicy. The bun was cold and not toasted and the sauce was not super good but not bad either. Then there were some pickled beetroot and pickled cucumbers and some fried onions on the steak. And french fries. All in all, a semi-boring experience unfortunately. Dolly's exudes atmosphere and the voices of the past. What the other guests ate looked very delicious, but my steak sandwich is not one I will buy again. The sauce must taste more and preferably more of it. However, we would like to come again and taste another dish. The shooting star my girlfriend ate was really good according to her.
