A good museum. Lots of history.

The way the museum is set up is beautiful. It really gives a good picture of what it used to be like until the closure in 2006.

Super good and exciting museum that is an important part of Danish history. Good for all ages. Interactive museum that gives a realistic feeling of the atmosphere when prisoners lived there. There are so many fates described that you can come many times and experience something new each time. I have been there 4 times over the years. Warm recommendation from here.

Nice museum, but they haven't changed much since I was there 5 years ago.

A truly interesting attraction and a completely different experience than a typical museum. Just walking through the cells and seeing what life was like there is impressive. The stories of the people who were imprisoned here are also very interesting – they help you better imagine what everyday life was like in prison. The puzzles and the clue-finding are also a big plus. This makes the tour more engaging, especially for children, and it's not just about viewing the exhibits. The prices are, in my opinion, very good – 120 SEK per adult (110 SEK online). Children and teenagers under 17 have free admission. I definitely recommend it. It's an interesting place, full of history, and you can have fun solving the puzzles along the way.

A very detailed museum about the prison system, also about escapes and the rockers. Definitely a place to spend 2 hours of your free time.

Amazing... best museum I've ever seen... you can try out lots of things... solve puzzles like in escape rooms...
