Focaccia 'n' Tonic Syddjurs

I confess that, being Italian, I don't normally eat at Italian restaurants because I end up complaining. But Focaccia 'n' Tonic is a whole different story. I've been there three times in the last few months, alone and with friends. When I want to impress a friend who loves good Italian cuisine and, above all, enjoys a quality drink... this is the perfect place. Food: you pay for what you eat. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch; if you like to experiment with flavors, you'll have a great time. I've tried several focaccias, but my favorite remains the same: carbonara!!! I feel sorry for my Roman friends 😁 Drinks: If you like a different, well-made, balanced cocktail, even using unknown ingredients, Piero will blow your mind. I always go for a gin and tonic (my love) and end up trying something new that always leaves me satisfied. Balanced cocktails with flavors that settle in your mouth over time. I've never tried the wines, but I've had a go at the beer. I'm a fan of IPA, and for Christmas they let me try two variations, which I was very pleased with. Service: Piero and Francesca (and Gennaro in the kitchen) make you feel welcome when you return, as if you were at home. Thank you for bringing this new corner to Ebeltof.

Truly exceptional. One of the few businesses that, in my opinion, is well-executed, carefully thought out from A to Z. Menu, quality ingredients, and especially the cocktail list. You can see the heart and soul behind it. Well done 👏

Absolutely recommendable! We were there 3 weeks ago. We made a reservation online. The staff is super friendly, and the food is fantastic. Prepared with love and tastes amazing! We had a carbonara-style focaccia and one with Serrano cheese… my mouth is still watering today. We've been coming to Ebeltoft for 30 years and know the town inside and out, but this restaurant is an absolute treasure. We'll be back next time ❤️

Really delicious tapas board and Vitello Tonnato. We also got a Focaccia with ham and field salad. Unfortunately it seemed that the salad had not been rinsed properly. So when I got the second piece which was strangely crunchy, I took the salad off and ate the rest without it, but unfortunately that ruined the experience a bit. I would have liked a glass of water with the wine. We complained to the “sand” staff who apologized.

We thoroughly enjoyed every visit during our vacation. Freshly baked focaccia, Gamma beer on tap—what more could you want! Ordering a gin and tonic, which turned into a gin tasting, was also a lot of fun and opened our eyes to new flavors.

Probably the best restaurant in ebeltoft, impossible to compare, the food is top quality and the waiters are real Italian who know what they are doing. I recommend

Nice little place with great food! Great service. We came at a very quiet time, but that suited us just fine (hence 3 stars). Would recommend the place to others :-)
