After the most wonderful hike on the Helligkilde route we stopped at På Toppen. The window was open and we got personal, friendly and down-to-earth service just the way we like it. Beer from local brewery Dejret bryghus which is only sold in 3 places. Home-baked cookies and good cocoa with whipped cream. It was below zero degrees so we were guided to Grotten which was warm, unpretentious, primitive and cozy. They also serve an almond cake that must be tried on the next visit. There were heat lamps by benches with fur so you could enjoy the snow-covered lawn that ended in a small lake. So nice. We will come again.
