It was a wild wow experience and super service

Incredible. Food and service out of this world.

It is in a way a bit frustrating for us (and the waiter) that all people at the table do not get the same menu. Suggestion, give all 6-7 dishes instead, and then you have to leave what you don't like. That we have to pay DKK 50 for water when you choose a wine menu for DKK 1,000.00 seems a bit petty. But otherwise a nice and cozy evening, which is a bit ruined when the waiter asks for a tip when you have to pay, after an otherwise nice and cozy evening - it's a little too pathetic. Knowing that tipping was abolished at the behest of the waiter in 1967.

Delicious food with great details

It is absolutely the best we have eaten at a restaurant in a long time. Everything worked to perfection and pretty much anything is possible. Their wine list has something for everyone in all price ranges. The food itself is an experience all by itself. The portions are not large, but they are so well prepared, inviting to look at and extremely tasty that with 5 dishes, you will be full in a good way. The flavor combinations make the angels sing. The waiters are there, without hanging over the table. The wine is placed in a wine fridge after opening, but you never sit with an empty glass. They really know how to keep an eye on every finger and see who is missing what in the glasses. An art in itself. There are good acoustics and the music is muted. The chairs are fantastic with padded backs and seats, so you sit comfortably. It was a completely fantastic evening, and this will not be the last time Formula B will be visited. Highly recommend the restaurant

We had a great evening at Formel B! The service was very friendly and attentive (I’m gluten-free and they were paying kind attention to my dietary restrictions) and knowledgeable about the food and drink available. We enjoyed the food a lot, however some dishes lacked a deeper flavor. Eg. The crab starter. There was a slight mess-up with our dishes, and we got one of the ordered dishes twice, instead of the one we actually ordered. This, however, was resolved quickly. We had a great night and would come back!

I was again lucky to stop in for a “no reservations,” dinner. The service here is a cross between à la carte and prixe-fixe. There are 12 plates available, and each guest is expected to choose at least five.  One major difference from most other prixe-fixe menus is that there appears to be no rule restricting the entire table to the same choices. The table of five next to me had, for one course, five different selections. For my selections, I enjoyed the brown crab, in pastry, coated with chili paste; and the roasted turbot.  Two servers tell me that the turbot is the restaurant's signature dish since 2006, but the menu unfortunately does not highlight this fact. I was happy to observe something I rarely see - involving a small table behind me.  The sommelier repeatedly tasted, conferred with a colleague, then rejected the bottle of wine the table ordered. He hurried to cellar but found no replacement, and was forced to apologize to the guests. If the sommelier cannot reject a bottle, why would a restaurant have one on staff? The other servers were equally proficient, and personable. I'll have to return, to sample the remaining plates. 2024 01 16. M1.

What a great experience from stsrt to finish. Very generous! The five different dishrs was just perfect with the turbot on top. Wine pairing was spot on and very, very genrous. Staff acted like we expected but even better. The only negative aspects was the cutlery for a few dishes and the plates
