We have been coming to Fortunen for the past 30 years for their fantastic Easter lunch, as well as every now and then for coffee and cake or a good lunch. Super service, lovely atmosphere in beautiful surroundings outside and inside. Thank you Hanne and Betina😃👏🌷

Historic and charming place in beautiful surroundings. The bed for our company was not worth the money, however. It was dry, slapped together the same day and with far too much whipped cream. This despite pre-ordering for our huge company. 😢 Sad.

Ubetinget den bedste stegt flæsk man kan få! Wienerschnitzelen er også genial på den helt originale måde. Hvis man er til god, gammeldaws, dansk mad, så er Fortunen det skønneste sted op ad Dyrehaven med dejlig autentisk personale ❤️

After a walk in the neighboring park, we stopped here for a spontaneous dinner. We started quite late, and ended up having the entire beautiful dining room for ourselves towards the end of the evening, but still the waiters were very patient with us. The food was also excellent, so I would definitely recommend a visit.

24/03/2024: Amazing food, very cute and cozy place and friendy waitress - all in all, really great.
21/03/2024: A beautifully warm restaurant overlooking the sea which is lucky because the prices chill the soul.. We chose braised pork cheeks with celeriac and a burnt butter thinking that for £20 pounds a plate we'd at least be full, then the waitress said that was just a starter so we filled up on the delicious bread and salted butter. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully, we had a brilliant time and our waitress was just so lovely. 10/10 for the food, service and location.
