Great cafe and I always love to go there, but the prices and portions got a little out of hand? 45dkk for 1 slice of bread, a small egg, butter, a pile of salt and some herbs? Add some jam and another slice of bread, then you can keep the price🤠

You know the flat white will be expensive when it's served in Grandma's smallest old cups. We think the coffee was under-extracted because it was too sour. Cheers!

this was my local spot during my time in copenhagen and i enjoyed each visit. great coffee, very calm environment inside as well as plenty of outside seating. my biggest praise is the vanilla custard danish which will forever by in my heart!

Fovl is a fantastic spot with a welcoming vibe and stylish interior. The service was warm and attentive, and there was no wait for a table. The food was fresh and flavorful, with creative touches throughout. The atmosphere made for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Would happily return for another meal!

26/10/2025: It’s best to reserve a table in advance. I saw customers being ushered to outdoor seats (in the chilly 10°C weather) because the restaurant was fully booked. I enjoyed the flavorful lobster soup, which was the special dish of the day. My husband loved the open-faced roast beef sandwich—it was absolutely delectable—and the juicy IPA from Jacobsen. Our bill came to 1,029 DKK (about €140), and I highly recommend leaving a 10% tip for the hardworking and attentive waiting staff. It’s a lovely Danish tradition—the staff placed a small Danish flag on the table for us celebrating our birthdays. I had requested a window seat, and the staff graciously arranged it.
