Beautiful old pub with fine old furniture, pictures on the walls and a wide selection of beer, good service and a cozy atmosphere. Nice to sit outside, for example, on a summer evening. Also dinner, it is probably wise to book in advance. The pool table will probably never come back, alas alas

Very nice traditional Danish pub. Our host (who is also the barman) was really nice and patient, giving us good recommendation. Food is nice and reasonably priced.

Absolutely amazing and authentic place with excellent danish food and wide range of beers. Very friendly and hospitable owner of the place served us by himself. Dishes were very tasty interesting. We were 9 person,4 from Germany and 5 from Israel and all of us were very satisfied! Thanks very much to owner and the staff. Greeting from Israel ❣️

Good bar atmosphere, something for all ages.

Frederik VI is hands down one of the best places in Frederiksberg for a pint. The atmosphere is just so good —lively yet relaxed, welcoming but never chaotic. It strikes the perfect balance between a classic pub and something more refined. The staff here are fantastic—always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to recommend something from their exceptional drinks list. Whether you’re after a great local brew or an international favorite, they have it, and the variety is incredible. Unlike your typical pub, Frederik VI maintains a clean, stylish, and comfortable setting, making it the ideal place to unwind without the usual downsides. This is my go-to spot, and for good reason. If you’re after a proper pint in a great atmosphere, look no further!
