Frederik VI Frederiksberg

Trendy pub in the heart of Frederiksberg, which I have come to multiple times with the lads. While staff is kind and friendly, place is packed with tables and furniture to the max, creating an annoying athmosphere. Yesterday, we gave their food a try and I must say that it was the worst Schnitzel I have had so far in my life. Should rather call it a Schnitzel Tartar and my stomach still hurts 24 hours later. Really hope they can keep things clean and improve the food preparation.

Took my French niece and her boyfriend to Frederik VI to experience Danish comfort and Danish food. They were not disappointed! We had Thursday's dish mincemeat with soft onions and plaice fillet with butter sauce. For dessert, old-fashioned apple cake (a little too much cinnamon in my opinion and the whipped cream could have been whipped better) All in all, a lovely evening. Consideration was also given to the niece's very visually impaired boyfriend, as we were given a well-lit table. Thank you for the super kindness and service.

We had a great experience in Frederik VI. The barman was super nice and wanted us to feel welcome. The food and beer was good and the prices are not as high as in other Danish restaurants. The place feels local, not a tourist trap.

Amazing traditional danish food, pariser bøf cooked to perfection. We were warmly welcomed and served on the 30.12. by a kind man in white shirt and with a beard, unfortunately I did not ask for his name, but the experience was great especially because of him. The cook who made our dishes also came to say hi and was very kind. We got various types of herring which were delicious. I especially liked the huge selection of beers, everyone will find something for themselves. Will come back for stegt flæsk/flæskesteg, wish it was on menu every day 😅❤️

Absolutely lovely place, nice bar atmosphere with great service. Person serving us was warmest person ever and tried to make us feel at home. Thank you for that! ☺️ Food is absolutely delicious, herrings are really nice, for more conservative choices I recommend Monday meatball or fish fillet and for beef lovers Parisian steak was really delicious with nicely balanced sides. One minus for some other person picking up our plates with one containing melted butter. Due to a mistake this waiter spilled some of the butter on the table and my colleague and seemed unbothered by it. I’m not sure if it’s language barrier or what but I would appreciate more engagement in the situation or even sorry in danish. Aside from that one mistake great place and I’d love to come back!

Lunch during the busy Christmas week, large selection of smørrebrød and beer. Pleasant surroundings and atmosphere.

Menu is quite simple, which I prefer, plaice fillet was pretty good, mostly local visitors

We came specifically to try the vegan smørrebrød for lunch and we were not disappointed. It was really good. The service was friendly and the atmosphere is just lovely. The beer was also good.

Bit inexperienced and rude young staff. Superwised by a queen in sweatpants who thinks customers needs preevavaluation. Nice atmosphere could use a slide touch up to make it a cosy place. Beer - when available- nice. Probably will not return - so many better places in the neighbourhood where customers are really appreciated.

Classic Danish "dine in bodega". Be aware in the holidays that it is quite cramped
