At the idyllic Søsportshavn in Frederikshavn is a gem of a restaurant that has won my heart: Nerd. Forget about stars and reviews – here it's all about real, uncomplicated gastronomy.
From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are both professional and friendly and are always ready to help. It is clear that they love their work and it rubs off on the guests.
The menu offers a number of delicious dishes, and if you are in doubt about what to choose, the staff is helpful with good advice. I myself have had the pleasure of tasting their famous shooting star several times, and each time it has been an extraordinary taste experience. The fresh ingredients and the creative preparation are in a class of their own.
I've eaten shooting stars in many places, but none compare to Nerd. It is simply the best I have ever tasted. I was so excited when I first visited the restaurant that I could hardly believe that it was possible to make such a perfect shooting star. But every time I return, the quality is just as high.
In short: Nerd is a restaurant that deserves all the praise it receives. If you are looking for a culinary experience out of the ordinary, then Nerd is just the right place for you.

I've had the pleasure of tasting their famous Stjerneskud (open-faced sandwiches) several times, and each time has been an extraordinary culinary experience. I've eaten Stjernskud many places, but none can compare to Nerd. It's simply the best I've ever tasted. I was so thrilled when I first visited the restaurant that I could hardly believe it was possible to make such a perfect smørrebrød. But every time I return, the quality is just as high.

21/04/2025: We have eaten several times at this unique pearl, located in beautiful surroundings by the water. NerD'ed experimental dishes, where taste and quality ingredients are successfully complimented. Most recently, we were a party of 13 people, where NerD formed the framework for an unforgettable evening. Big praise to the chef and the other staff.
