11/02/2025: Classic restaurant, with typical food, super friendly and good service, I can't ask for more.
This is what we asked for:
- Herring platter: a combination of herring in various preparations: cured, pickled in mustard and fried. If you have never tried herring, it is a good idea to try it in several ways, they were all quite delicious. They bring it to you with bread and butter in case you want to make a smorrebrod, which is also very classic.
- Pork tenderloin: with creamed mushrooms and pickles, it is still a grilled tenderloin, it is delicious but not wonderful.
- Roast pork: as if it were a pork shoulder roasted in the oven, with crispy skin and a very juicy interior, it was delicious, but not a wonderful dish either.
- Traditional Danish meatballs: the most curious flavor and least associated with a meatball that I have, very delicious, but the same as the other dishes, good but not wonderful, and not because of the restaurant, but because of the gastronomy they have there.
- Cod roe smorrebrod with shrimp: it was recommended to us by the super friendly waiter, and the truth is that it was quite good, I would order it.
04/02/2025: Excellent Danish lunch in a very traditional setting. Excellent service! Love the atmosphere. Reservation required. Quite pricey.
