The menu features some unusual and interesting options, which was a nice surprise. I really enjoyed the noodle dish, though it had very little duck in it. Service was quite poor, and the prices felt a bit high, even by Copenhagen standards.

Located very close to Copenhagen Central station. Great lunch experience here with my friends last weekend. The staff very helpful. Lots food options with very tasty and affordable price. Dumplings soup really delicious 🤩🤩.

Vi - en familie på 5 bestående af 2 voksne og 3 børn på 5, 8 og 10 år - ankom ved 17-tiden på en almindelig onsdag. Der var stille på restauranten, kun 1-2 andre sæt spisende gæster. Der er lidt blandede anmeldelser online, så vores forventninger var at det kunne gå begge veje. Ved ankomsten blev vi placeret ved et fint bord, og kiggede dernæst i menuen. Det er ganske rigtigt hvad de øvrige anmeldelser sige: menuen er ganske uoverskuelig for den almindelige dansker. Vi spurgte derfor til råds hvad personalet kunne anbefale. Denne aften var, som jeg forstår det , ejeren af stedet til stede. Hun tog sig kyndigt af os, spurgte hvor meget vi ville spise for, og sammensatte herefter en menu til os som passede til alle. Vi fik et væld af spændende og velsmagende retter på bordet, og alle inklusiv børnene fik en masse nye smagsindtryk. Der var endda stor tålmodighed med at der grundet børnene blev spildt lidt af hvert. Vi spiste - os 5 - med drikkevarer for omkring 900 kr.

Visitamos en un sábado por la noche muy ocupado y tuvimos la suerte de conseguir una mesa. El personal era muy amable y servicial. Enormes porciones de buena comida que sabía muy fresco y natural. Sin duda volveríamos.

04/04/2025: We had a lengthy discussion at our table about how to rate this place. The thing is, that when you’re rating restaurants for Google, you have to make a relative judgement based on other restaurants in the same tier. Meaning that I am obviously not going to rate Hong Cheng, to Geranium or to your local pizzaria. You rate Hong Cheng, against other Chinese buffets. And based on that, it’s a four. Why? Because of the selection of items. They got everything a Chinese buffet needs. The menu is large, and all the items on the menu is average at best, but the selection is large. They got everything you need. Many fried dishes, curries, desserts, Mongolian barbecue, veggies, sauces - everything. And everything is average at best. So that’s why it’s a four. You’re rating it towards other Chinese buffets, and since 99% of them are average, the grade is average.

Urban Camper Hostel & Bar

08/05/2025: They realiy nickel and dime you here, from charging for lockers and shuffleboard, to the bike rental. They charge you to use the lockers, per use. The key card replacement charge is 250 dkk, which is $38USD. I asked the front desk clerk if that was the true cost of replacement. She said she didn't know. I stayed at a hotel in France that charged just one euro, if you forgot to drop it off or lost it. Demark might be 50% more expensive, but I'm skeptical of it being more expensive by a factor of 30. If you are staying here to save money, you also need to keep an eye on little costs, not just the room price. They can add up. I wonder if the staff will be offended if you don't require any optional extras. It's a party hostel. People don't stay here to read their bibles in the park. They have a full bar, so a lot of people aren't buying their alcohol at the liquor store and drinking it on the street, which is legal in Denmark.
07/05/2025: The hostel is amazing, very clean (rooms and toilets) cool bar and common area and good location. My only “complaint” is that the tents are very close to each others, so even if you booked a private one you have to be really quiet after 22h to respect the rules… which was fine, but we couldn’t even whisper inside and people were already “shishing” us and we could also hear everything… so it works both ways. But still great hostel I would definitely go back or indicate to friends!
