I didn't get what I ordered. When I order spiced herring, I don't want curry herring.

It's in a great location, right by the Nyhavn Canal, one of the most recognizable spots, so you can sit and enjoy the beautiful view. Until 5 p.m., they serve traditional smørrebrød sandwiches (usually with herring). I chose the salmon option, and it was delicious. The sandwich is quite large, and comes with fries, making it perfect for a quick lunch.

Not exceptional, pretty touristy, service is sweet but slow. I was just happy I found Fiskefrikadeller, and it was tasty, though not mind-blowing. The bizarre dog paintings on the wall are kitschy and unintentionally unhinged, I like them. They both depict a gigant scared dog being found by a danish guard. The soul gesture of inevitable findability, the wish to be invisible. I feel for the dog. And for the guard. It must be scary to find such a large dog.

A pleasant place, and the fyrtojet plate for two was fantastic. The Grimbergen beer was very good.

Malik and his colleagues was very friendly, serviceminded and knowledgeable in various languages. The portions of food was good, and had good combinations. If you don’t like loud music, I don’t recommend to visit before 9pm.

We had seen a summer lunch offer (not a Deal!) that said 2 pieces of open sandwiches and dessert for a total of 160 DKK. We had to try it! And what a surprise. We got 2 huge, freshly prepared and tasty pieces of our own choice (we chose salmon/fish fillet and chicken salad). Although we were very full, we still ate 3xBelgian waffles with ice cream, also delicious. Beer and wine (with free water) at reasonable prices. Friendly, smiling and attentive service. We were only allowed to eat indoors, but it was also cozy and nice, as it was a windy sunny day. Can definitely be recommended and we will be back very soon. Thank you for a lovely lunch day

We did a Northern Europe cruise, and we labeled this place as the best restaurant of the entire trip. The only catch is you HAVE to order the sample platters. We ordered one of each and we will never ever regret making that decision. Everything that came on the dish was absolutely incredible. As you can tell from the picture depending on how hungry you are you might or might not be able to finish the entire platter if you are just person. I did but the people I came with couldn’t finish theirs. Anyways if the restaurant is reading this we loved the service we had a waiter from Pakistan who lived in Barcelona 17 years (so you know who it is). His service was top tier 10/10 and made our experience 5x better.
