Super delicious soup and ace dumplings, coming in very good prices! Loved the place as well!

The food took a little long but it was very good.

The Spanish girl who served me made everything easy, guided me through the menu, and recommended the noodles, which were incredible. The food was delicious, but the service and patience she showed me made it a great experience.

It wasn't the first time I came here to eat, but this time everything was clean inside. The girl was on her phone when we entered, but I could tell she had nothing else to do. She greeted us, unlike other staff before. The food was the same, still the same delicious taste. We took an extra round, which took a little longer, but we understand that because it got busy and she was alone. ❤️ (we wanted to order again, but she said the kitchen closed at 9:00 PM… however, Google says 10:00 PM, but that didn't bother us). This time we had a much better experience, so I decided to write a review. I will definitely be back after this! 🎉

GAO Dumpling Bar is a solid spot if you’re craving dumplings in Copenhagen. The dumplings were full of flavor and came swimming in a rich, spicy chili oil sauce that added a real kick – especially the ones topped with cucumber and black sesame. The texture was spot on: nicely steamed and juicy inside. We sat outside on the little street patio, which had a very relaxed, casual vibe. It’s not fancy, but it works. The street is full of graffiti and character, and it all adds to the charm in its own way. We had a bottle of San Pellegrino and some extra soy sauce on the side – simple but satisfying. Service was quick, and the food came out hot. The portion size was decent, though a few more dumplings wouldn’t hurt for the price. Also, seating is limited, so expect to squeeze in or get takeaway if it’s busy. All in all, GAO is definitely worth a visit for a tasty, spicy dumpling fix – just don’t expect fine dining. We’ll be back!
