A beautiful and delicious meal! This was a great meal to celebrate an anniversary. Everything was exceptional- food, wine, cocktails. The meal was expensive but so worth the experience.

The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The whole place had a really chill vibe, perfect for a relaxed night out. We shared a few dishes—fish, garlic bread, green salad and artichoke, and some white wine—and it was just the right amount for the three of us. The spot is super close to the city center, so it was easy to get to. And seriously, the garlic bread was out of this world—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with flavor. Hands down, the best garlic bread I've ever had!

I stumbled upon Esmée by sheer chance while exploring the charming streets of Copenhagen, and it turned out to be a serendipitous discovery that left a lasting impression. The allure of the restaurant drew me in, and from the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I was in for something special. Every single bite at Esmée was an exquisite experience, leaving me craving more with each dish. The menu is a testament to culinary artistry, and I found myself returning for a second visit during my stay—an endorsement that speaks volumes. Some of my favorites included the oysters, which were impeccably fresh and brimming with flavor. The heirloom tomato salad was a vibrant medley of textures and tastes, a true celebration of the finest produce. The Esmée green salad was equally delightful, each ingredient harmoniously balanced. The pasta with prawns was a standout, perfectly cooked and richly flavored, showcasing the skill of the kitchen. And let's not forget the strawberry soft ice—a unique and comforting dessert that provided a sweet finale to an exceptional meal. Its delightful twist on a classic treat was both nostalgic and innovative. A special mention must go to Sebastian and the rest of the staff, whose exceptional service elevated the entire dining experience. Their attentiveness, knowledge, and genuine warmth set the bar high for what a true culinary experience should be. Esmée is not just a restaurant; it's a destination that promises and delivers an unforgettable gastronomic journey. If you find yourself in Copenhagen, a visit to Esmée is an absolute must.

I was a bit disappointed by this place - it is not worth the hype in my opinion. The interior is stunning and classy, the food is nice and beautifully served, but was expecting more for this price point, some dishes seemed a bit too salty. The portions are tiny - tuna tartare is around one tablespoon in total :( I left a bit hungry, but it was probably not the best choice of the main dish. Speaking of which- I think that halibut ceviche should rather be included in starters section, but definitely not in the main dishes one, do not order it as your main dish if you are hungry. Also be aware that the plain water is 50 dkk for a person (insane). The service seemed a bit cold and unwelcoming. We were seated in a very crowded corner (around 20 cm between tables, the waiters were barely squeezing between them), though the rest of the restaurant was almost empty during our visit on Friday 13:00, no idea why they put all the guests in one small corner instead of spreading them around for more privacy… There are definitely better options in central Copenhagen and also cheaper.

Only the scallops and green salad were less than perfect. The tomato salad is so good. A little odd they dont have ketchup. Clean reatrooms.

Delishh and very good service) waiter was very helpful,beautiful place.We have spent 400€ in 3 people with 3 grasses of wine, 3 starters, 3 main courses and 1 desert.I mean I was visiting Copenhagen, mb it’s normal there, but a bit too much compared to Milan)

Had a superb Sunday brunch in relaxed atmosphere on the terrace. Staff were wonderfully helpful, prompt without being hurrying, and the food was amazing. The Chia porridge was delightful, and the boiled egg with caviar and soldiers was possibly the best thing ever. Definitely recommended.
