Cozy inn with good food and service

Good food and nice atmosphere, we sat outside. Unfortunately our waiter was not attentive during dinner, which brings down the rating a bit. Toilets need to be refreshed, they smell very bad unfortunately.

Exceptional food, I had a schnitzel. Ambiant is magical, at least from subjective point of view. A bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. Friendly stuff and very professional.

I celebrated my birthday on June 15th where we had Kroens party buffet/Humlebæk, highly recommended - it was just top class.

Terribly expensive place. Ordered a smoked eel with scrambled eggs and got a slice of rye bread with two small pieces of eel on it and plenty of scrambled eggs. Of course garnished with tomato and a lettuce leaf. The food was not much bigger than a regular piece of open sandwiches. Price: 185kr! My best estimate for such a piece of open sandwiches should be MAX 60kr. and that's only because it's in a tavern. To feel full, you need to eat at least three or four pieces of open sandwiches. If you only come there because it's for work, I wouldn't pay that much for so little.

Lovely food and pleasant service

Cozy inn with good flow and excellent level of service. Reasonable prices - but some of the food was perhaps on the boring side with e.g. very dry roast pork and thin anonymous sauce (not brown sauce as expected). It was all clearly just reheated and served in a flash. But that's also the same as fast serving 😊 Dessert offered ice crystals/lumps in the vanilla ice cream (not fresh taste) and a cold cappuccino. The stew tasted good and the meat was deliciously tender. But overall the desserts and roast pork all disappointed. However, it was still a good experience all things considered.

Vi var på en 3 retters menu på en deal. Desværre var maden ikke en oplevelse. Bl.a. kunne kødet til hovedretten ikke skæres igennem med grillkniven. Personalet var til gengæld helt i top. Vi spiser ofte winerschnitzel udendørs om sommeren. Kan varmt anbefales. Men en deal var sidste gang.
