I made a same day reservation for a late dinner and chose to sit at the bar (kitchen). We had an incredible meal and enjoyed sharing all of the different plates. Everything is perfect for sharing and the kitchen staff were very polite and informative. We got the cucumbers, salt and pepper mushrooms, pork wontons, Dan Dan noodles, char siu pork, and white rice. We ended the meal with the mango pudding and it was such a surprising experience. I really loved every bite of it. It was the perfect ending to our meal. Bright and not too sweet or heavy.
I really enjoyed how all of the flavors complemented each other and each dish was nuanced and well seasoned. The toasted sesame seeds, white pepper, Szechuan pepper, etc. The chili oil was delicious and nothing was overly seasoned or spicy. My favorite thing that I had was the mushrooms. The texture and taste were such a treat. I would love to come back here if I ever found myself in Copenhagen again.
10/10 recommend.
The only thing I did not like was our waitress. She kept trying to suggest things we did not want (we already knew what we wanted) or tried to dissuade me from getting the dessert I wanted because it was not enough to share. She wanted us to get the French toast but it seemed too heavy and I did not want it. The mango pudding was perfect for sharing and delicious. She also kept commenting on how I was drinking nothing because I only wanted sparkling water and not something else. Other than that I really loved this place. The rest of the staff was lovely.

Incredible Asian food, good in quantity and with brutal dishes and flavors. We ate at the bar, where we could see some preparations. The closed menu they have is perfect. The cocktails didn't excite me but I would return a thousand times more for the food.

Don’t trust the other reviews. This place is well worth a visit — or two. The desserts alone (mango pudding and Hong Kong toast) earn The Goldfinch 5 stars for balancing tradition, innovation, and of course, flavour. We also enjoyed the scallop toast and crispy aubergine. Additionally, the service was attentive and friendly and the location couldn’t be better
My only criticism is that the scallops with glass noodles were drowning in XO sauce that really masked the flavours and textures of the ingredients. This is a classic Chinese dish (although usually without the XO sauce), so I understand the desire to innovate. However, this is one of those cases where the OG dish with garlic instead remains far, FAR superior. Cantonese food should be light and refined
The crispy Aubergine will change your life, like I’m not even lying it was amazing.

A very sexy bar and restaurant. Great cocktails with some real innovation and of course the food is sublime. I wouldn’t hesitate the highest recommendation, go before you cant get a table.

Disappointing :( Lacked taste in general. They forgot the syrup for our french toast and we couldn't really communicate with the waiters… The pepper steak was good
