What a gem of a spot! We decided to spontaneously pop in during our first night visiting Copenhagen, and it was the coolest thing we could have done to set the tone for the rest of our trip! The staff was super lovely - very open and fun, but also incredibly attentive to detail (all our not-so-easy allergies were accommodated on the spot). We got a seat at the kitchen bar, and it was almost a theatrical experience watching the kitchen staff in action and seeing how they interact with each other. The food was an absolute feast - every bite filled with flavor and freshness, and I still catch myself drooling over the crispy aubergines, the pork wontons and the pickled vegetables! We got a bottle of orange wine which also really hit the spot 🙂‍↕️ Can only recommend, and can't wait to be back next time we visit!

3 visits same experience! Very consistent service and food!

The food was good overall, but unfortunately not quite a highlight. Some dishes felt a little overpriced considering the quality and portion. We were a little surprised that a new carafe of water was brought to the table before the previous one was finished, especially since each carafe was charged separately. The service was otherwise pleasant and the overall experience was okay, but considering the price, we expected a little more from the food.

We had an amazing time at Goldfinch - we chose to sit at the kitchen counter, which I’d definitely recommend for a more intimate and exciting experience. All the food we ordered was excellent, but the highlight was the duck. We will definitely be back!

The food was served very slowly, even though there weren't many customers. Also, I searched for "Chinese restaurant" on Google, but the food here wasn't authentically Chinese; it seemed more suited to European or local tastes. The decor was also Western, completely unlike any Chinese restaurant. We only stayed to try it because of the good reviews! There were seven of us sharing dinner here.
