Gonzales Cantina Hillerød

Gonzales has impressed me. I came here as a child/youngster and it was ok there, but I actually think it has gotten better since I've gotten older and moved away from the city, I've visited the place with my work twice where the pizza was super good, there was friendly and good service and we also got a couple of good specialty beers.

Very friendly and great food. Wasn't too busy which was perfect for 12 of us to get seated right away at 2pm on a Friday.

I was in the area and decided to visit that place for lunch. I ordered a Mexican burger and I enjoyed it. While I like much spicier my food, this spiciness is perfect for most people! Good ambient and good service!

Super cozy gem in the middle of the pedestrian street in a small alley with outdoor dining. Lovely Club Sandwich served by friendly staff with a twinkle in their eye. Would give more stars, but the portions are too big, so it can only be 5.

A real family place with a small playground for the kids, a reasonable level of service and always very friendly staff. I myself am a bigger fan of their takeaway, and a very special experience awaits if you know what to look for. If you want a crispy and insanely good experience, do yourself the favor of immediately ordering a pizza no. 153 without the usual accompanying Bearnaise (Uncle D. style). You have now redeemed your ticket to a true classic that you will want to come back for again and again. It is pure perfection with the crispy crust, the seasoned meat and plenty of cheese., The fulfillment of every true pizza lover's dream of how a deep pan pizza should be and above all taste.. There's a lot of inferior deep pan out there, then. many may want to hold back and try not to eat the whole pizza in one sitting, but that is quite simply not an option with Gonzales no. 153, because once you start on it, you won't be able to stop yourself until the box is vacuumed and empty. I will definitely come back and stop by, even if it's a detour. Thanks for getting deep pan back into rotation, it's been a really long time since someone managed to deliver that quality and crispness. Well done 👍👍👍

We were going out to eat in Hillerød. Many of the 5 Star restaurants are closed on Sundays and we usually eat at Hallifax. Rethought and decided on Gonzales. For some restaurants, it is always a question of how many dishes can be on the menu. I come from Gastronomy and my question is always how many ingredients on the menu are fresh or frozen. You can order everything from Pizza to Steak to Fish and the huge menu is inviting. Great design. We got Pizza, calzone, pizza and burger. I think my pizza was cold and felt like the bottom was frozen - won't be negative towards the family. Greek burger - no idea what was Greek about it? Well there is always a first and last time. Recommendation: Reduce the menu to perhaps 20 dishes and make sure they have good, fresh ingredients.

Great food and service, unfortunately the stay ruined by some other parents not being very careful... Will def come back
