Really good food, and the portions were just right, not too little and not too much. Really nice waiter who was very smiling and service minded. We will definitely come here again.

Good solid food for a reasonable price - I always leave happy and full from Gonzales and the staff are nice and always want the best for me I feel. Absolutely no complaints, my mother and I always try to have lunch here if we are passing through Hillerød at the same time.

Food was good. Our waitress was very sweet. The menus had different prices though for the same thing. One menu said 99kr my daughter's menu said 105kr. Our waitress went to double check with the Mgr and he said 110kr. He did end up honoring the 99kr. That was just a little weird.

Discovered this place by chance today. The pizza was excellent, and what we saw on other tables looked good too. Extremely friendly service and fair prices.

We have visited Gonzales twice this summer, both times with delicious food, very attentive waiters and good service. John in particular was extra attentive and genuinely interested in our experience of the restaurant.

Hillerød Smørrebrød

08/09/2026: There were 15 of us at Hillerød Smørrebrød for a quick bite to eat for a stag do, and it worked really well. When we arrived, the place was nicely set up for us, the smørrebrød was delicious, and the service was top notch. They were incredibly welcoming and service-minded throughout. Definitely recommend if you want to gather a larger group for some good smørrebrød.
06/09/2026: Good selection of smørrebrød, and fairly freshly-made. Nothing too much to complain about, as this place has been a reliable stop for me when I just need some smørrebrød to take with me somewhere.
