Gosht - Kurdish Street Food København

Gosht is one of the most delicious Kurdish food you can imagine to enjoy in the upbeat food Street. The menu is concise and perfected to bring the utmost satisfaction. If I could I would go there everyday and eat.

Great service, wonderful food and a homemade chili sauce that makes every hardship you've ever gone through worth it!

The food was tasty, but the portions didn't justify the high price. I ordered the rice bowl, which felt expensive at 145 kr.

After walking around Reffen for a while deciding what to order, the grill with shish kebab from the guys at Gosht got my attention. I took the naan bread with lamb, yoghurt dip and grilled tomatoes. The taste was great, but I have to say this portion is way to small for the price of 125 DKK. I could have eaten a second one of those. I think the bowl is a better choice in terms of price/quantity. Tip: after getting your food, take it with you to the Mikkeler brewery and enjoy one of their delicious beers!

I had higher hopes for Gosht. It's in such a hip area with great food stalls so choosing ultimately which to commit to was such a task and this particular stall held such promise. In the end, the meat bowl was just fine, it was seasoned nicely with a nice sauce. The rice was very standard. What was a bit subpar was the naan, as it was flat, cold, and a bit flavorless. Overall, if you're visiting Reffen there are so many options and this may not be the one to commit to right away.

I was here today for the first time. We were attracted by the grilled meat and the nice attitude of the vendors. We ordered a bun with meat and a bowl of rice with meat. The vendor did not speak English well, but he persuaded us to buy an extra naan bread, even though it wasn't necessary since we already had rice in the bowl, and we already bought a sandwich with bread. When we picked up the food, we mentioned the misunderstanding, and they offered to give us our money back for naan, and we accepted. The food was okay, the meat was good, but the naan bread was old and not freshly made. I do not recommend this place; it seems more like a tourist trap with high prices. Meat was very good tho. Later edit: I got the money back after 3 days.

Went out for a late night meal at Reffen and stumbled upon Gosht, not having much experience of Kurdish food since before. I didn't know what to except really, but WOW! I'm not disappointed, one of the BEST meals I've had. Totally recommend a visit! 5/5
