Govinda København

My Indian friend took us to this place. She approves both the South and the North Indian meals here. Everything was so delicious and the personnel was very kind. Even my meat lover friends liked all the vegetarian dishes!

First restaurant in Copenhagen where you get food without onion and garlic. Authentic South Indian food. Highly recommend it.

I took a take way combo menù with 5 super yummy vegetarian dishes. Absolutely delicious! And the staff is so kind.

Tasty and delicious food! It’s a great place for those who prefer to eat in a pure vegetarian restaurant only. Must visit and taste the authentic Indian food cum Lord’s Prasadam.

Today I have tried their regular meals along with south indian menu items which enhances the food and experience at Govinda. It will be my repeated place to have Vegan/vegetarian food with different varieties. Will surely come back once again!

The food was absolutely delicious with right amount of spice in it! Although I got it packed to eat later on, the food remained hot and fresh :)

This is a tiny vegetarian take-away that only has a few spaces to eat in as it mainly caters for phoned in take-aways for locals. Basically a one-person operation, the owner is a lovely man who obviously cooks with love based on his spiritual beliefs. There is usually only one choice of meal at about 100KR, but it is an Indian 'street food' experience. The chickpeas and rice I had were filling, tasty and worth the wait. I would definitely seek Govinder's out again on any future visits to Copenhagen.
