Govinda København

We visited this place during a short trip from South India and were initially struggling to find authentic Tamil Nadu-style food. While other cuisines were decent, we genuinely missed the comforting taste of traditional South Indian dishes. To our delight, we discovered Govinda, and the food here was incredibly delicious! It brought back the authentic flavors we were craving. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and reminded us of home. A must-visit for anyone looking for real Indian taste in this area. Highly recommended!

Sensational food - so delicious and good value. We had the rice (perfect), dahl and mattar paneer. Both curries were so well spiced and complemented each other. The guy serving us was super friendly. Highly recommend!

The food we had felt homely and was tasty. Even though the menu is small, it still has a variety. It would have been nice to know beforehand, though, that they do not serve South Indian dishes for lunch. They serve them only for dinner and have only platters available for lunch. It's not mentioned anywhere on their website or in the google menu, and we went there specifically for the South Indian food and couldn't get it.

Amazingly good food. I have ordered their food through Too Good To Go, and i have enjoyed it a lot - every time 😋 Have tasted their plain dosa - maybe a bit too thick, but probably pretty fine considering the price. Everyone must try their "Too Good To Go"-meal 😀 The manager is super kind and humble. Seems like the place is run by very good people 😀

Loved the food here, everything was so delicious! We ordered the south asian thali, the 3 item thali, the paneer tikka and the idli and the food was amazing

Good option for Vegetarian and Vegan food in Copenhagen, they don’t serve South Indian in the lunch time, but one should be able to find other options.

We visited this Indian restaurant during our trip to Norway. They were kind enough to open specially for us on a holiday, upon request, and served a selection of dishes. Although the full menu was not available, everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic and the service was very warm and welcoming. I would definitely love to visit again and try their entire menu!

Hyggeligt og hjerteligt. God mad. Kan anbefales. Ikke helt det samme som i 1990erne, hvor man spiste til man var mæt for en 50er og fik gratis lassi. Men klart et besøg værd.
