Grannys House Gladsaxe

We had a great time staying for 5 nights at Granny's B&B in Søborg. The place really feels like a granny's house with vintage furnitures and artefacts. Rasmus the owner is a wonderful host and always up for a good chat about world affairs. Every morning we woke up to the smell of baking pastries. The breakfast (included in the room price) is fantastic. The rooms are clean, comfortable and full of character. Keep in mind this is a 130 year old building so the floors creak. There's one shower between the 4 guest rooms which not ideal but manageable. Keep in mind it's not always fully occupied. It was nice to stay outside the city centre and experience daily life in the suburbs. It's a short 20 min trip to the centre of Copenhagen. Highly recommended.

There is really good service from the owner and staff. It is a house in the romantic style, old furniture and a fun style, must be experienced. However, it is not handicap friendly, there is a narrow and steep staircase up to the rooms.

Excellent bakery. We got delicious croissants and sandwiches for our breakfast every morning.

Super delicious brunch and good service - a bit of a shame for the employees that there are so few at work that they have to run around. Waited i.a. almost 1 hour in half of our brunch!

Cozy and quirky place with good service and good baked goods. Special style with a touch of hoarder, which makes it charming, but also ay it's not something for everyone.

Very cozy granny decor - also somewhat messy and worn. Absolutely fine service. The food and coffee were average. A bit boring brunch without anything special, but it didn't fail. The price is average.
