Grannys House Gladsaxe

I'm crazy about their salad, especially their passion fruit dressing, and the cranberry and almond bun. It's worth the drive.

Had a sandwich and a beer each for lunch. A very pleasant place. The sandwich could definitely be a bit more filling and substantial, but I would come back for the atmosphere 😊

We had a great time staying for 5 nights at Granny's B&B in Søborg. The place really feels like a granny's house with vintage furnitures and artefacts. Rasmus the owner is a wonderful host and always up for a good chat about world affairs. Every morning we woke up to the smell of baking pastries. The breakfast (included in the room price) is fantastic. The rooms are clean, comfortable and full of character. Keep in mind this is a 130 year old building so the floors creak. There's one shower between the 4 guest rooms which not ideal but manageable. Keep in mind it's not always fully occupied. It was nice to stay outside the city centre and experience daily life in the suburbs. It's a short 20 min trip to the centre of Copenhagen. Highly recommended.

There is really good service from the owner and staff. It is a house in the romantic style, old furniture and a fun style, must be experienced. However, it is not handicap friendly, there is a narrow and steep staircase up to the rooms.
