The food was - as usual - good, but the cushions/blankets outside were unusually dirty 😐

What fantastic porridge at Grod in Lyngby. The standard porridge dish was excellent. I picked my own toppings and had the large which I did manage to finish - but the standard size would have been fine. Highly recommend for any time of day.

I have been to Grød in Christianshavn for several years where the staff is very service-minded and quick despite being busy. But today I was in the Lyngby branch and had to wait for my food for 25 minutes despite it not being particularly busy. The 2 who served and prepared the food were more busy talking privately and talking about when they should take a break!? And didn't seem particularly attentive to the customers either. A truly disappointing experience.

30/08/2026: Lacks the good service you pay for I have been a regular customer for many years because of the high quality, but unfortunately the service has become significantly worse. Today the expedition was carried out so quickly that my rye bread was wrapped before I could ask to have it cut. The clerk at first refused to cut it because she didn't want to "waste" the bag, and only after I insisted did it happen - with clear irritation. When the prices are high, you expect friendly service and flexibility. The bread is good, but the bad experience unfortunately really drags it down.
25/07/2026: Always excellent coffee and good service! But their wheat bread and buns have declined in quality. Too hard to bake.
