Best porridge in my life! Super cozy and the staff is so friendly :-). Absolutely recommended!

We were walking back from Christiania, feeling hungry and a bit undecided, when we passed by Grød. A man sitting outside noticed us hesitating and said, “I come here every Saturday, the food’s great.” That was enough to convince us! My wife ordered chicken with veg. At first, her plate came out wrong—it was someone else’s dish. The staff realised straight away, apologised, and quickly swapped it for the correct order. To my surprise, in the middle of this mix-up, they also brought me a porridge I never ordered. I told them it wasn’t mine, but they kindly said, “Keep it.” So I did—and wow. Hands down the best porridge I’ve ever had in my life. My wife’s meal was absolutely delicious too. What started as a little uncertainty (and a funny mix-up) turned into one of our best food experiences in Copenhagen. ⚠️ Warning: Don’t try the porridge… unless you’re ready to come back every single day! Loved the place, loved the staff, and can’t wait to return. 🙌

Happened to run into it while shopping in the area, the red daal porridge bowl was absolutely delicious, felt like home food.

Delicious breakfasts!! I tried the Green smoothie bowl and the All In porridge, both lovely and definitely fill you up. Plus the coffee is fantastic!

Loved this place where you could choose your own porridge and toppings. A great concept for breakfast. Had tables inside and our server was lovely and friendly in helping to choose!

Nice place, cozy decor. Didn't get porridge this time, only cool drinks, but I have previous experience with the food and it just tastes good!

I loved the food with different grain/porridge options. Delicious, BUT so, so salty. My friend actually had to choose another meal as she just couldn't eat it. I know everyone has different amounts of salt in their meals and I would say I am using it as an average person. But seriously, please add a bit less. You can't taste anything with a mountain of it.
